We met Matt at an extremely trying time of our lives. Ever since that day, we have experienced nothing but professional, kind, and responsive care from him and his team. When we have curve balls, Matt always seems to find a fair and swift solution, both for our personal finances AND my business books and financials. I've had the pleasure of getting to know, trust and like Matt and his team members, more and more over the past two years.They are strong problem solvers, with our best interests in mind. I have never used a tax preparer previously until I had some things come up that the typical turbo tax was just not going to be able to address. I contacted them based on a friend's reference and could not have been more pleased with my experience from beginning to end. Their ability to communication electronically with me allowed me to fit in the time to get my questions answered, securely transmit my documents and get my return without ever having to step foot into their office. I ended up stopping by to pay and pick up my paperwork and they had everything ready for me. Matt was AWESOME in answering every question I had thoroughly and promptly. I felt quite a bit of anxiety about using a tax service but the team at Zone made this such an easy process!

I have always had my taxes itemized and never owe at the end of the year. I explained as much to Zone Accounting, expecting the same service. I was stunned to be told afterward that the standard deduction was going to be used and that my Federal tax bill was over $500. They use pretty maroon folders to hold materials, but that certainly did not justify that I felt trapped to pay them for not having my taxes itemized and for not having all possible deductions being included. They did not appear to be informed on all possible tax deductions, such as new energy saving improvements to the home.
