Buzz is a liar. He said he would get my taxes finished before the Oct. 15th dedline and he didn't even look at them. I told him he should be ashamed of himself for lying and such bad service. he just agreed with me. Steer very clear from this guy. I will pay a late fee pecause of his laziness and lack of integrity.

I dropped off my tax documents in March this year. April came and went, so I asked him if he filed an extension for me because I didn't receive any communication that it had been done. I called him to confirm, and he told me that everyone's extensions were filed, but I eventually discovered that was false. I've called him multiple times over the year and he has consistently assured me that I was "at the top of his list." Now it's October 9th, and my taxes STILL haven't been filed. I've tried to contact him over the last few days and I haven't received a response, so now I'm trying to find another CPA that can help me file my taxes and try to get an abatement because of all the fees and interest that have been accruing over the year.

I made an appt with him for help with filling out a W4 with multiple jobs. He said he would help me out for free. First, he was 15 minutes late to our appt, no heads up or attempt at communicating that. His “office” is so disorganized and messy he isn’t able to find anything. I made the mistake of leaving my 2023 tax return with him to look over and he lost it. There are piles upon piles of other people’s sensitive information on his desk that he told me to “look through to find your documents” while he helped another customer! There was moldy bread on his desk from two weeks ago when I last left his office! I feel really bad for him but he clearly needs some help! If you are overwhelmed with clients why waste my time and tell me you would help me just for me to wait and wait and now you are unable to find my important tax info? This was my mistake for giving you the chance and I will never recommend your “services” to anyone. He told me he would call when he found my tax return, it’s been 2 days and he hasn’t called.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never worked with someone more unprofessional and disorganized in my life. I wish I knew where to start..to sum things up, he went from trying to say I OWED thousands of dollars back in federal taxes...3 visits to his office, so many calls I lost count, and me going to his office yet again to sit there as we went through everything he missed ...to now being told we would be getting thousands BACK because of mistakes my husband and I caught. Sounds great, right? No. That visit was back in May (first visit in Feb) he E-filled with me in his office saying it was all done. Fast forward to Mid July and still no return. 4 calls later I finally get ahold of him..he tries to gaslight me saying I was supposed to submit something..oh but I have proof showing you submitted it and had to read it off the paper for him to believe me. After finally accepting he "submitted" it he says it was rejected. Why? He doesn't know and ended up hanging up on me when I would not agree to him taking WEEKS to look into it when this was supposed to be done months ago! Do not trust him with your financial information. His office is so disorganized it's overwhelming. The piles and piles of paper work and personal info just laying right on his desk with no regard to personal info is beyond concerning. He has no idea what is going on. I told him not to submit my state taxes until I had time to review, what happens? He submits them without my approval. When I ask why, he says he didn't and doesn't know who did? You don't know who submitted my state taxes His entire staff quit because of how disorganized and unprofessional he is. Taxes are still not done and it’s mid july. Hangs up on you. Does not return calls. I stayed with him because he was a family friend, I very much regret it. If this is how he handles business his "friends" I can only imagine how he treats others.

He finally called me back claiming he did not hang up on me and said he would have a “friend” look at why it was rejected..I told him no, some random person who doesn’t even work for him cannot look at my financial and personal information. I have requested a full refund. I am worried he has all my financial documents and no sense of security or even organization to protect his clients. This man should not be in business.

If I could leave zero stars I would! We used him for 3 years not knowing the unbelievable mess he made of our taxes. It started off by having to put in an extension for our very small business when I gave him all the paperwork on time. Then he filed our second year without children. We have 2. The amount of repeated phone calls and emails because of disorganization. Then we never got our return from the irs and with many many hours trying to figure out why with the irs we finally found out that he filed my husband with a w2 when we are small business owners. My husband does not have a w2. Now buzz will not answer the phone or return messages to get his mistakes fixed! Now forced to fix it myself.

My wife and I have used Buzz for a few years now. First year was fine. 2nd was iffy but worked. And now this 3rd year has been a disaster. We've looked past the highly disorganized physical state of the entire office each year. At the beginning it was excuse after excuse on why would be "delayed till october." We didnt accept that and have gone in multiple times, with my wife also calling multiple times every month. We pay for a service that we expect to be completed in a timely manner, especially when it has to do with our finances. Seems like his staff have even quit over the last few months. Buzz does not take responsibility for late work, missing/losing your important info, and lacks any type of follow up at all. Its quite unfortunate. I feel bad that he may not have any help now and things are just falling apart even more, but as a business owner, you have to find ways of providing the service you claim to provide, at all times, and take responsibility when you don't provide that service. No excuses. We have had to go in 3 different times, and one of those times I was the one to find the mistakes he made instead of them finding and fixing them himself. We've been more than patient with him, giving him so many opportunities to fix things, make it right, and possibly keep our business. But we will not be back, and he knows that now. Which is why I'm sure he is just tossing our taxes to the side with more and more delays and excuses. He also just told us he was going to have another person look at our refund, which is unacceptable. We'll be getting our money back.

Lost file. Extended date to file and IRS has no record on file. Buzz supposedly filed taxes electronically and an error message occurred but he doesn't want to deal with it. We paid for a service that is incomplete. We are hanging on a thread and he has no initiative to help or resolve the issue. We highly do not recommend his tax services.
