My previous tax professional retired and I was referred here. This was in 2019. Everything was great at first. However, the last 2 years was a rapid decline. Eric was our preparer. He would ask us questions and we answered them in the medium he used. E-mail or portal so it was recorded. He would wait a couple months and ask the same question again. We told him not to claim the kids since they moved out. He did so anyways. This was posted in the portal. He then wanted to charge us for him fixing his mistake. We claim single and zero and never had to pay taxes. We always received several thousand back. Last year, we owed just over $6k. He gave us an amount to pay the IRS. We paid it. He then gave us another amount because he removed the kids. We paid it. We still received a bill from the IRS because of interest we accumulated because he delayed letting us know. The site he gave us only allows 2 payments a year. We switched to another business and will have them review the last 2 years because we are getting over $3k back for 2024. 5 stars initially which brings the rating up from 1 because I have to give them credit for the previous years. I would not recommend Eric to anyone. I can't discredit the rest of the office because I never dealt with them.

Called to become a new client - told by the lady who answered the phone that they do not offer the tax planning and consultation services listed on their website. They are only a filing service. If you have a complicated situation do not bother.

Wilklow & Associates has been terrific to work with over the last few years! I have had the privilege of working with Eric Virkler in particular and he has always been very professional and personable. He has not only helped our family with our personal tax returns, but he's offered tremendous insight when I started my business. Grateful for Eric and all that he does for us! I was so anxious walking into their office. I had experience two years of costly mistakes by another CPA and the IRS wasn’t tolerating all the nonsense. My personal and business paperwork was a disaster and Susan walked me through the new tax laws and deductions available to me. She responded to my calls and emails quickly. Best of all, she cleaned up the tax mess and set my mind at ease. They swiftly prepared my returns and filed everything electronically. I don’t dread tax season anymore, thank you Susan Wilklow and Assoc!!!

Do not recommend one bit. Victim of DV, single mom referred here to someone named Eric and was blatantly discriminated against. Owner runs CASA too. That's more than shameful. If you or your family member is a DV survivor this is not the place to go.

This is an excellent accounting firm. I have had a professional and personal accounting relationship with my accountant for many years now and I couldn't be happier.
