Cannot speak to a person as I am not a fan of automated phone systems
Also, I made my payment in December and due to an error on the part of the person entering an incorrect amount,I was told my account was in arrears even though I HAD made the payment.I finally had to pay the late fee even though I had made the payment in full.
This is a poorly run system if you can't speak to an actual person when assistance is needed.
I would not recommend this business to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

Tried to obtain a notice of Lien release for a car I financed from them (at a horrible rate, but that’s a different story) a few years ago, and it is impossible to contact them. Very shady. This “bank” really straddles the line between an institution & an organized ring of scammers. The quality of their website alone should be a dead give away about how much they care about their image. Their customers aren’t shopping around, they make their money most often from desperate people.

Absolutely a nightmare to deal with and upon paying off my vehicle, they constantly told me lies about pay off etc then had 2 reps hang up on me intentionally, then after sending documents to them to have added to my account almost a week went by and they still were not added, then just to get it done it took 8 phone calls over the last 3 days just to finally get it resolved. Worst experience and company I have ever dealt with in my life. Next step is going to be to the BBB and a lawsuit for the upright disrespect I’ve received among several other issues!! So they get zero stars from me but I have to give 1 I guess to post this…

If I could give them a 0 I would this is the Worst company for financing I ever encountered! They charge you daily in interest which means you will pay double for what the car is worth ! I paid double of my car payment each month and they took half of it each time I paid due to their high interest rates daily!! Westlake is a total rip off!! I am looking to refinance my car through another lender immediately and find out if this is even legal!!

Do NOT. Our car was repossessed. (Mainly because after a Year we still cant make online payments because our old account is all we have. And of course they upcharge to call in a payment) We called to make the FULL payment. It's now been 2 days, Our car is at a random tow yard and they won't tell us anything. The paper work takes 24/48 hours to process. Now that it's 48hours and ticking, now that's " just an estimate". Even after talking with several customer service representives, supervisors. We're being charged DAILY for them simply not doing paper work or pressing send. When we could of went two days ago to get it. Which is hilarious cause the money isn't in my account... It's been a literal NIGHTMARE! And the workers are rude, condescending, hurtful. All while being lazy, and entitlted. You're literally just a pin number to them. So save your breath and time!

I would highly recommend avoiding this service. Was prequalified on an app called car guru. When I contacted westlake finance they had no record of my application or pre approval. Wasted 2 days looking at vehicles for nothing .

Terrible bank , terrible customer service, terrible I would never ever do business with this place again customer service is very rude not knowledgeable and gives you wrong information they will try to cheat you on fees and steal your money also should be investigated! If you reading this RUN FAR AWAY RATHER WALK
