Absolutely unacceptable and unethical business practices. This company fraudulently charged my account without authorization after cancelling our policy due to their negligence, and when I contacted them for answers, I was met with vague responses and zero accountability. Even worse, they allowed unauthorized individuals—city officials with no legal right or connection to my policy—to access my information and make amendments. This is not just a breach of trust, it’s a serious violation of privacy and possibly the law.

How can an insurance company justify letting random third parties tamper with someone’s policy? There was no verification, no consent, and no transparency. When I demanded clarification, I was passed around from department to department, and no one seemed to care about resolving the issue.

I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. If this is how they handle sensitive information and finances, I’d hate to see how they respond in an actual emergency. Stay far away!

We were with Western Reserve for many years..My husband had a terrible accident not his fault when a lady didn't stop at a stop sign and hit his large Top Kick Truck in the back and put him out of control .He hit an on coming car head on and killed an 8 month old little boy..the dad was seriously injured which my husband was also injured..That was horrible losing the little boy. Then we had to go through a terrible time with Western Reserve. They are a a very fraudulent company and only wanted to settle with less than half of the value of the truck..We had to hire a lawyer to help us which took about 1 yr.to settle..The claims lady Peg Miller was very rude and nasty.. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Customer Service does not exist within some of their employees' vocabulary. Claims Rep Cynthia F. was particularly abrasive and aggressive in her approach. Some sensitivity training would not be remiss.

one of the most worest company i have ever seen in my life . I don’t know how they still active . one of there driver hit my car and this has been 4 weeks they didn’t solve the claim. the staff is very rude even if you talk with their supervisor he more rude than the staff.

I had auto insurance through Western reserve for SIX years and each year was a nightmare. My insurance agent was Verlotti Insurance the worst insurance agent in the world. He never answers the phone nor response to emails. It will take weeks to get in contact with him. And when you do get in contact with him and you need something done regarding your insurance, he will take another five weeks to do it. I would highly recommend having any other insurance agent other than Verlotti insurance

Took 2 years to resolve a claim. Everyone in this company is terrible from Don Suit to Thompson to Rene to their lawyers (Rathbone Group). They will give you the run around for months and lie and lie and lie.

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. After six years with no claims, they took over three months to resolve a wind and hail claim, and when I requested the reports of the independent adjusters that inspected my roof, they refused. They said since they paid for the inspections, it was their property.

Two big problems there. First, that means I'm just forced to take their word regarding what the adjusters discovered during their inspection. Secondly, since the customer is their sole source of financial income, the customers that pay their salaries ought to be able to see the reports written on their own home inspections! I'll never give one more dollar of my business to this company again. Thanks for taking my premiums for several years and then not evening providing requested documentation. Real ethical
