Manual was recommended to me by a friend with whom he worked with. My insurance premiums increased significantly this year so it was time to shop around. Manual suggested going with a combined California FAIR plan for fire insurance and a "Difference in Conditions" plan to cover everything else. Going this route pretty much halved what I would have otherwise paid. Recommended.

Don’t normally post reviews, BUT Brenda has been doing an OUTSTANDING job for us over the last few years! I was raised by an insurance broker and understand insurance more than the average Joe. Brenda has consumer service skills that are hard to find anymore. She is punctual, responsive and courteous. On top of this she is friendly. You can’t go wrong with Brenda!

I was initially panicked when State Farm non-renewed my Fire Insurance Coverage. After contacting Western Gold, I was connected to Jennifer Brikman. She helped me get a Difference in Conditions Policy which in conjunction with my California FAIR Plan Association Fire Insurance, was cheaper than the previous year's Fire Insurance. I also shopped my Umbrella Policy and found that this market has really opened up similar to the Term Life Insurance. My old Insurance Carrier had about doubled my Umbrella Policy, while the quote Jennifer provided was slightly less than the previous year. She also gave me a policy upgrade to better cover problems with those who uninsured.

Western Gold and Jennifer are saving me $13,000 over the next year and during these inflationary times anytime your current year's cost is less than the previous year, you are winning.

My homeowner insurance rates tripled over 4 years. In order to lower my high premiums, I increased the deductibles a month after I paid for 6 months (July thru Dec). Western Gold will not issue me credit for the difference which is due me since my deductibles are increased. Last year I filed a claim for a roof repair after hail storms...denied. Since I filed a claim I cannot change insurance companies for 3 years. Disgusted.

I don’t typically post reviews but this agency’s lack of customer service and rudeness is on another level. My agent went out of business and I was automatically assigned to them. My rates substantially increased and their support to help me make adjustments to the policy to find some cost saving is non existent . The 3 times I have called They make you feel like you are bothering them with your reasonable questions.
