I am going to strongly refute what has been stated in these negative reviews. We have been clients for 20 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. The entire team at Wakefield is kind, responsive, professional, and incredibly knowledgable. Freddie is like family to us and consistenly goes above and beyond no matter what the request might be. Todd Gervasini and Greg Britain are two of most remarkable people I have ever met. Thank you Wakefield for all that you have done for our family!

I inherited a IRA that was with Charles Schwab with local broker being Wakefield. For tax purposes I opened a inherited IRA with my local broker and just wanted the funds transferred into my account. I contacted Freddie Waite at Wakefield and she told me to access my funds I had to open another IRA with Schwab I told her I did not want to do business with Schwab or Wakefield. I asked who to contact at Schwab and she said she would only give me the call center number and they would not know what I was talking about. I finally relented after much frustration and opened the IRA.I asked Freddie when I would be able to transfer the funds and she said she had no idea. Here I sit having to do business with two companies I do not want to and have no idea when I will be able to access my six figure funds. Freddie will not return my phone calls or email. BEWARE!! Update: It has been a month and I just found out it will be another 4 to 6 weeks before the funds will be transferred,Wakefieldi is blaming Schwab and Schwab blaming Wakefield. Wakefield has now decided to block my calls. Part of the delay is Freddie did not include my social when she sent in the paperwork. I have never dealt with a such incompetent company in my life.
