DO NOT use this property management company at all.
They are insulting and unprofessional. They treat unit owners rudely and disrespectfully with racially discriminated undertones.

Helen M., the receptionist, was very rude and even hung up the phone during our conversation when I inquired about information. They withhold move-in deposits and charge erroneous fees to prevent certain people from living in the building.

They have multiple complaints with the NYS Division of Human Rights, and I believe they are co-mingling funds with my condominium board.

They are incredibly disorganized and awful to work with.

Specifically, Noel Dent. He sent me a threatening email when I broke a “rule” that they never disclosed to me. I threw away a large trash item at the wrong time but they never disclosed to me the calendar to do so, so I got a threatening email.

I bought a place in the building 2 days before as well. They don’t realize who they are working for.

They need to learn how to communicate with people. Each time they communicate with me, I hear the same message from at least 4 different people. They are really incredibly unprofessional and repeatedly harass me.

Lastly, it doesn’t look like I’m the first female to flag Noel’s actions towards women. I had interactions with Arielle from Veritas and she was respectful and professional. Please someone take action so Noel learns to treat women (and just people) respectfully.

Have lived in a property managed by Veritas for over 3 years now, working with them has been horrendous. They make trying to get anything done a nightmare and tries to block shareholders from doing anything to their apartments. Will repeatedly police you for breaking minor rules, will request extensive documentation from you only to reject it on semantic or formatting grounds, wasting hours of your time. It's unclear sometimes if the responses they give you are because they can't be bothered or because it is actually from the board they are representing. Untrustworthy, unsupportive, the manager I work with here reminds me of Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter.

Veritas managed our Coop building for 12 years, they offered fair service and pricing compared to other management companies. Carl, the owner, is exceptionally knowledgeable in the Coop business and hard to come by in my experience.
We recently moved to another management company due to pure financial reasons for our building. Veritas staff were still accommodating and professional during the transition. If you are looking for a coop management company, Carl is an expert.

I bought an apartment in a co-op managed by Veritas a month ago. In the last 3 1/2 weeks I have been trying to reach the Managing Agent, Noel Dent. I have left two voicemails, then got his email from our super and so sent him four emails - no response. The super told me to cc his assistant, who did respond promptly within a couple of hours, but she couldn’t answer all my queries. Interestingly, my husband in desperation then shot him an email and 33 minutes later got a response, and even a phone call later in the day. Mr Dent obviously has a problem dealing with women. I was simply trying to find out how to pay maintenance and pay off a special assessment (both vital for our building’s smooth running) and I dread to think if Noel Dent is so unresponsive about that, how will he be when I or any other woman in our building has a problem…

Very incompetent to the point of malice.

When I moved out they never sent me my deposit back. When I asked Jennifer about it she ignored me until I emailed three times, then she told me that they didn't received the check. LUCKILY I had kept proof of their receipt, which I sent to her, CCing carl, but they ignored.

Finally, I sent them an excerpt from the law they were breaking, and started hounding them on the phone, and they sent me my check.

Very rude people, I sent a email about an apartment I was interested in, Sandy respond to my email, everything was fine, we even made an appointment to see the apartment. I called the next day to ask a simple question and the lady who answered the phone won’t even let me talk, told me the apartment wasn’t available anymore, and just hung up the phone. I called again and explained to her that I spoke to Sandy through email, she then transferred me to Sandy, which was worse, she was extremely rude to me, she won’t even let me talk either and her answer was “I’m very busy right now and have not patience” like we are getting free apartment or something. I won’t recommend this company to anyone! The apartment looked nice and great area, but just the fact that someone treat you that way, just make you feel disappointed. Unprofessional!!

Working with this company, especially in a time like this has been the worst experience. When you call, they put you on hold, but when they get to you, they transfer you to a voicemail box. I had someone named Sona working on my application and she was extremely unhelpful and unresponsive. When I call, she doesn’t answer, when we email she doesn’t answer. But she was very responsive at the beginning of the process when she needed to receive payment to start. I’m disappointed. Would not recommend.
