Absolutely awful service. Rude staff both on phone and inside. Made a double payment due to them taking money out after a payment. They were supposed to refund my account when both were shown in there end. It's been a month and they still have not helped me with 250$ they took from me. They don't work with customers. Never going to bank here again.

About 4 years ago I would have always given them 5 stars. It seems since the Covid pandemic, the entire culture has changed. Now you have to tell a person at the door what you are there for, wait along the wall without any clue who else is waiting in what order ahead of you- the tellers seem to take ten × longer than they should, and I wonder what older customers do now that almost everything is required to be done online. None of the branches feel welcoming or have much privacy at the counter. I also got charged 10$ mo. like another reviewer- after I changed my address, they said I had to change my address for each account. What?

I was under the impression that local credit unions were a place you could go to have a more personal experience with reasonable people who could do what's right for their members. Unfortunately that is not my experience. I opened an account about 3 years ago so my kids could have a savings account to start building. About 6 months after opening the account the credit union shut down the branch we used. Needless to say we didn't want to drive out of our way to deposit birthday money so the accounts didn't see any activity. Nothing changed in my account until about a year later when I wasn't able to log into my account anymore but was given a general, we are having technical issues, message and to try again later. Although I tried several other times I wasn't able to log in and continued to get the same message. I wasn't concerned though because nothing had changed in my account and I wasn't notified of any changes to my account by the credit union. As I'm sure you can understand my surprise when the bank emailed me letting me know my account was being sent to unclaimed property because I hadn't accessed it. Immediately I reached out to the credit union to fix the problem. That's when I found out the reason I couldn't access my account online was because it was changed to a dormant status and they were collecting a $10 per month fee without letting me know of the change. On top of that I realized the credit union was charging my kids each a $10 fee per month because there address was returned undeliverable. Again, I mistakenly thought as a credit union I might be able to have a conversation with them and explain the issue and have the fees waived. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I simply was refunded my kids fees per the terms of service agreement and $100 of the $240 of the fees that were charged to me. I now realize the terms of use stated I can only be reimbursed 6 months of fees. The kicker for me was when the customer service team made it sound like they were doing me a favor by giving me back an additional $40 beyond what the terms of service state. It just seems that with the breakdown in communication on their part an exception to the rule can be applied. I even asked the credit union what the fee was for, as in, what was it used for, and they didn't have a response. It seems to be another arbitrary fee like the big banks charge. I have closed my accounts and don't plan on opening another savings or checking account with TFCU again.

Tucson Federal Credit Union has a great staff, from the moment you walk in they were kind and courteous, answering all or any questions I may have had. An outstanding Branch, the little amount of time it took to open a new account says a lot. Can't wait for future business with my new bank.

Their mobile app sucks..socks... Either its down for maintenance, or it's down for g.p. but it sucks... Time to look into a bank or a credit union that isn't always under maintenance.... Stay away

They had great customer service, the only downside is it took awhile to create an account but it wasn't there fault because they just got new technology.

I do not like banks. Some have gotten so large that it's nigh impossible to speak to a rep without digging through their website for contact information. Fees are exorbitant, never obvious, and mean spirited. In fact, I know too many people who do not have bank accounts at all anymore. Credit Unions, on the other hand, are like the "old fashioned" banks that we once knew: customer service is first-rate, fees are reasonable, old-fashioned services (checking, savings, the occasional cashier's check) are managed quickly, courteously, professionally. Tucson Federal Credit Union is an excellent example of a credit union.

If you don't have thousands of dollars to stick in your bank, seriously consider and compare the rates at Tucson Federal Credit Union: you'll be pleasantly surprised how easy, convenient, and inexpensive to do your banking at TFCU.

I have been a member doing personal banking here for years. Recently I started a business and wanted to open a business account and it is so simple and affordable that I decided to keep it all under one roof. TFCU customer service and the member-focused philosophy of a credit union is unbeatable. Thanks to Fidencio for all the pre-appointment preparations and appointment to get it all set up.
