if you're moving, check to make sure the building isn't managed by tri hill. the amount of stress they caused us when they took over our building is insane. luckily the owner realized how unresponsive, disorganized, and rude they are and stopped using them. they make just living in your apartment feel impossible and have no regards to the fact that this is actually our *home*.

it is impossible to get a reply via email or reach them via phone or text, and when they do it's one word answers. specifically kyle gaynor and ken levene.

Without notification of any kind: outside our high-rise bedroom windows at 8:45am. Latest in the ongoing horrible lack of communications and ineptitude since this “management” company took over our building several months ago.

I had the pleasure of working with Andrea Aguirre and she was beyond fantastic. I viewed the apartment and applied the same day. She was very quick with responses via email and answered all questions about the unit and application process thoroughly. It has been exhausting and stressful working with brokers from other companies who aren’t prompt or responsive, so working with Andrea made this process a breeze - absolutely stress free. I highly recommend her services at Tri-Hill! Thank you so much Andrea!

You can’t make this stuff up. Our experience with Tri-Hill Management LLC and their affiliated real estate broker 346 Realty Group LLC was an absolute nightmare. From start to finish, it was a mess riddled with incompetence. We found an apartment we were genuinely interested in and tried multiple times to schedule a viewing. Astonishingly, during our first two attempts, both the property management and the broker failed to locate the keys—yes, they couldn’t even grant access to their own listing. Completely ridiculous for a company claiming to be professional. We instead received a video of the place due to their lack of coordination. Oh, and let’s not forget that they falsely advertised the apartment in the listing.

Despite the inconvenience, we decided to move forward by applying. We informed them we were on a tight timeline due to travel and urgently needed their decision. It took them almost a week to approve us, with zero communication or updates in the meantime. By the time we received confirmation five days later, we had already left for our trip but promptly sent photo evidence of our funds, ensuring them that payment would be made upon our return. When we returned, we attempted to coordinate with the broker, who had given us a fake phone number by the way, however she decided to ignore us.

When we received the lease, we had some important questions about certain terms. Instead of acting professionally and addressing our concerns like any respectable company would, the management chose the cowardly route and rented the apartment to someone else without any warning or effort to engage with us to resolve our inquiries.

The sheer disorganization, lack of basic courtesy, and unprofessional behavior from Tri-Hill Management LLC and their broker (346 Realty Group LLC) were staggering. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company. Their complete disregard for prospective tenants is appalling.

So far so good. In all honesty the Renewals team , especially Ms .Glema and Ms .Acosta have been prompt, courteous and professional in sending me a new lease and amending it. They are working on painting the apartment too.

Realtor Kyle Gaylor made the moving process seamless. From the very beginning, he was responsive, honest and resourceful. Kyle diligently made sure my space was in tip-top shape and was an effective communicator. I highly recommend working with him!

This company is god-awful. I would give it negative stars if I could. We scheduled a showing for an apartment and the broker Andrea Aguirre arrived 25 minutes late and then did not have the keys to let us in. Overall we spent an hour in the middle of the workday trying to see this apartment. We applied for the apartment anyway because the video looked great. The next day, we were supposed to see the apartment and she cancelled 15 minutes before while we were already on the way. Finally, we scheduled another appt to see it on a Monday, and she arrived 30 minutes late, but we finally saw it. She told us that the listing was wrong and the unit wasn’t actually rent-stabilized (red flag). Also, we noticed that the listing said 2 bathrooms but it was actually 1.5. Despite all of that and the terrible management reviews online, we told her we wanted the apartment anyway because it was exactly what we were looking for. She said they would send the lease tomorrow and demanded payment tomorrow.

Well, the trend continued. They did not send the lease the next day but wanted payment. They finally sent the lease on Friday at 4pm and demanded payment the next day even though we told them we would be out of town. We scrambled to get cashier checks before the banks closed on Friday to show that we were ready to proceed, and sent her a picture of the checks as requested (another red flag). We decided to meet on Monday to sign the lease and review our questions. Throughout this entire process, we were beyond accommodating and communicative.

Andrea cancelled our appt on Monday and said the office was closed. She did not reschedule us. She did not send back a response to our questions, which were all standard clarification questions, nothing crazy. Then today (Wednesday) she tells us they rented the apartment to someone else.

Incredibly unprofessional. Don’t work with them. Listen to the other people that have been scammed by them. Seriously, screw this company. They will waste your time and money. They will take all your financial information and it will still not be enough. Yes, the NYC rental market sucks, but it doesn’t have to be like this.

Oh, and the broker gave us a FAKE PHONE NUMBER.

TLDR, BEWARE.
