My house flooded back in aug 8 2024, yes there was an insurance mishap,
The estimate they gave is NOT WHAT THE Final bill was!
They will charge you for things that weren’t done! Up charge on things that,I believe they don’t think you will notice
Example,my estimate said 4.45sf for flooring (vinyl)
They charged me 4.45 for carpet and padding ,7.97$ for vinyl
They charged me BOTH time for Trash (mitigation and remodel)
And the trash is in the bathroom
They charged for painting the ceiling , baseboards,which came pre painted, and now they want to threaten me with a collection ,

“Our estimates are not based on a per line item cost, they are a total estimate for a total repairs job. We have actually gone above and beyond what we were contracted to do on this project and all it is giving us is being in the negatives on our books for an extended period of time while we awaited payment, and the proposed breach of contract as threatened in your previous email.
At this point, we need to collect for the signed repairs provided or enter into our collections options.”

“Regarding the flooring, we were able to obtain a much better flooring for you at the same cost as Home Depot that you agreed to.”I agreed to 1.49$ which was Home Depot’s price
Also come to find out the flooring they put in was 4.5 mm
Home Depot’s was 6mm
Soo how is the one they put in better?
They also charged for closet doors which never got put in, they took the shelves out of my closet and never put them back,
Be WARE of this company!!

Joel, Kaelen, Jeffrey, and Cris have been grate to work with on our crawlspace issues.
The remediation part went great, and the team was polite and professional. They have also been very helpful in dealing with insurance to keep the claim work moving forward. This is the second time we have used TCM and plan to call them again if we have any future issues.

Very efficient and thorough, respectful of the space, and Joel especially provided a lot of very helpful insight overall into the remediation process and issues at hand. Had flooding ground floor, had total tear out and replacement of bathroom and fire tile. Now the floor creeks, fire tile is cheap and thin tile replaced thick, seems on floor and carpet poor and ended up not having them finish. Was overcharged for poor work. Ended up being taken care of by the insurance company, but taken advantage of by the restoration company. Do your research, make sure to check quality of all work, make sure you’re not being charged for things not provided, and protect yourself.

I called on TCM for a cleaning job at my parent’s house just outside of Palmer.
I had used them before & they were great!
Unfortunately, the lead cleaning supervisor called me & said “The job is too small, to go all the way out there.” She said they have a ‘nationwide’ program now thar determines their rate. It is my perception that is no longer a local business serving our community.

The work was finally done well. However it seems unusual that their phone works so well once the job was done and they wanted paid. Trying to get a phone call returned or a status update to get the work finished in a reasonable quantity of human lifetimes seems to be a highly unrealistic expectation for this company.

TCM did a wonderful job under a very tight timeline. We had already left the state to our new home and a problems was discovered with a leak in the crawlspace immediately prior to our closing on our home. They were able to immediately respond and mitigate the mold and water issues that allowed us to close on our home. We highly recommend them.
