I have been a member of this credit union for over 50 years. In the past they were always there for me especially when my husband passed. It wasnt until January 2017 ny real problems started. I had to evacuate my home and stored my check s in thw box provided at someone's house I thought I could trust. These people stole 2 books of checks went up to the credit union and the credit union let them cash my checks totalling about 3100.00. Mind you I am a 4'10 Caucasian female the people who came in and cashed ny checks are a 6'2 black man and 5'6 puerto rican female. On top of this atrocity the credit union claimed my signature was on those checks. Anybody could see that wasnt my signature nor am I in the habit of having other people go in and cash checks for me. Ive done it twice once when my husband died and when my house caught on fire. Both times I called and asked St Colmans permission and wrote a letter. To add to everything I was in the hospital when St Colmans let these people cash my checks. Denny from St Colmans told me in order to get reimbursed I would have to file a police report and get an attorney. Ive done both and have not yet this day got back one dime of my money. I do not trust them nor do I feel my cash is safe. Im on a fixed income and I cannot believe I haven't recieved reimbursement.
