Spaces Management supported their property manager at Blue Haus charging me for damages I did not do. They fail to maintain their facilities. I put an order in to fix a broken sink, and they failed to fix it for months. Then, they charged me for it when I moved out. Their furniture is grossly cheap, and the material falls apart just from sitting on it. This is unacceptable considering the unethically high rates of their properties. Consider using any other management company as this one does not care about its clients.

If you could give a big ZERO that's what Spaces Management would be. Spaces management company is awful!!! They do not communicate with the the homeowners and they certainly do not do a good job of managing the property . They do absolutely NOTHING for the neighborhood!! The supposed common area in my sons neighborhood is overgrown and the playground is completely gone but yet they still charge HOA fees when they have nothing they oversee but the sign at the front of the neighborhood which is not well kept. If you buy in a neighborhood they manage them be aware they will not notify you when the HOA dues are due they will wait 2 years then file a judgement lien with high fees on your home and turn it over to collections and who will then charge 270.00 per weeks in fees and will not breakdown exactly what the 270.00 is . My son moved into neighborhood managed by them and it was the
worst decision he ever made. They are nothing but crooks.

Well considering he just got the invite to open an account with Spaces Management 2 days ago I find it hard to believe you emailed him a invoice for his dues.

I live in Villages at Oakland Springs in Madison. Spaces just took over as HOA manager a couple months ago. We are fine with living in a covenant community and generally look forward to being in a well maintained neighborhood.

After the first neighborhood inspection Spaces conducted many of us in the neighborhood were cited and told to pressure wash our driveways. This is rather absurd as the neighborhood is still very much in active construction with constant red dirt and mud spread by heavy equipment trucks.

It would be helpful to understand what Spaces considers to be the appropriate amount of times a year a home owner should be expected to pressure wash our very small driveways. We received our first $50 citation but the online portal doesn’t show what the citation relates to.

I sincerely hope they are being as “active” on enforcement of the builders and contractors as they are on home owners.

Hopefully I can update my review and rating soon if things improve, but the initial impression of their management performance has not been acceptable.

Pictured is the constant red dirt state of the neighborhood roads, the wide open job sites that never have any form fencing or barricade to prevent construction waste and debris from spreading, how the driveway looks one week after chemical cleaning, and finally a crooked lamp post we see from our front porch for twenty three months and counting.

Spaces cited me for needing to paint my mailbox, even though I had recently stripped, sanded, primed, and painted it, as well as having my name and address professionally applied. In the citation was the picture of my mailbox. When I questioned them in this, they claimed the numbers were too small, even though they were in compliance with the HOA. I complained to the HOA president, and they sent him a picture of my mailbox where they had photo shopped my name and the address off. I showed him the exact picture that they sent me with the citation, and the name and address are as plain as day on it. They called me back and claimed that it was "an accident" that they removed my address and name and then said the color of my name/address wasn't bright enough, and that they thought EMS wouldn't be able to find my house. Jokes on them, EMS had to come to my house 2 days earlier, and they had no problem finding it. I was actually amazed at how unprofessional they were.

Currently renting at Crimson Place. Our lease ends July 22. My daughter has emailed the property manager and copied Spaces Management regarding our move-out plans, final walk-through, etc on June 1st. No response. A second email was sent June 15. Christina and Spaces have YET to respond. Last night, we returned to the unit after a brief absence to find the door unlocked! We double checked that door when we left so there is no question someone unlawfully entered the property without proper notice. I texted Christina immediately. Here we are 16 hrs later, still no response. My husband will be going up to that office in person. This is absolutely unacceptable.

If i could give Spaces Management a 0 star review, i would. This is the worst, most un-communicative, unhelpful property management company i have ever dealt with in Tuscaloosa. Our property manager is basically unreachable. We have been able to get her on the phone MAYBE once when we’ve had multiple questions/concerns/issues with our house/management. We have had multiple maintenance issues and maintenance has showed up ONCE to fix it (we had to get our dads to drive to our house to fix our other issues). When said maintenance DID show up, they removed our entire cabinet from our kitchen and said they would come back in “a couple days” to put it back up. It’s been 6 months and we still don’t have a kitchen cabinet. If you ever want to contact Spaces Management, you’ll have call over and over again to even reach someone. So good luck. They have WAY too many properties they need to manage. They need to sell their properties to companies who can properly manage them.

I lived at crimson place condominiums this past year and I had a great experience. The property manager Christina is great! Anytime I had an issue she was quick to answer me and to help me resolve my issue. Spaces is the management company for this complex and they were are always quick to fix any issues we had inside our unit. We had an issue with our dishwasher and spaces was able to come in and fix the issue the next morning! I highly recommend leasing at crimson place it is a great place and it is gated and safe.

I live right now at the Crimson Place Condominiums. I have had an incredible experience with them. They respond to calls and help as quickly as they can. Christina McCalpine is the property manager here and she is great at communicating and helping to the best of her ability. She answers the phone and makes things happen for us. I have loved living here and I have to believe that it’s made this experience even better. I love this location and the management. I would recommend anyone to live here and to work with this management company. They make it a priority to help with the time calls for it.
