Amanda is amazing and deserves a raise. I came in with an emergency issue and though she could not herself solve it… she provided me with all the information I needed to accomplish what I needed to by end of day. She was professional, friendly and really thoughtful. She never overstated her knowledge but she was 100% accurate in helping me. She is an excellent example of excellence in service. I hope the management team at this store appreciates the caliber of customer service she’s providing.

I have dealt with other employees here with similar results. It’s a great team. But you have a star in Amanda.

Wish I knew about their customer service before I took out an auto loan with them.
I’m up to 8 phone calls to try and get payoff from my insurance company on a total loss claim due to Hurricane Helene. I tried patience and understanding but The customer service people are apathetic and not helpful!

I got an email saying they would be closed on the 9th and 10th due to hurricane Milton. So I was going to go into today on the 8th so I can deposit cash for a very important payment and they are closed. Why even send an email if you are gonna be closed before your set dates? SMH.

Kickbacks to Car Dealerships?
In negotiating the purchase of a car from a local dealer, they would only do the deal if I financed with this credit union. The finance person at the dealership said it's because he gets a good kickback (his words) in bringing the credit union business. While I agreed to the deal the finance person presented on the car and put down a $1000 deposit to secure the deal, ultimately the dealership backed out of their own deal, because I chose to finance with my bank.

Horrible place never enough people to serve and you have to go online to open an account doesnt make sense. It is a new but inside very ulgy looking and not inviting. One of the most important things for a bank is to open accounts why would you not have a way to open account in the branch. Lol or she didnt feel like doing it that day. Omg, this place is always busy I dont know why. They are always understaffed. Maybe because they are one of the only free accounts places left.

I'm just an old man, a Senior Citizen and a Disabled Vietnam Vet living alone in a Melbourne Authority Housing Unit who recently ran into some trouble when the local Post Office lost my Certified Check earmarked for the Melbourne Housing Authority in Brevard County. Normally, it takes 90 days before the bank will put a stop on one of their checks. I didn't have the luxury of waiting that long nor did I have the funds to request another check. So I walked into the bank with hopes that something could be done for me. In short, I found a Bank Manager working there whose first name is "Julia." I explained my dilemma and right away she began working to find a solution that would solve my problem. I was called back to the bank later that afternoon where I found a new check waiting for me. I can’t tell you what a relief it was to find that so I just wanted to write this review to thank Julia and her supervisors for going the extra mile in helping me. The people that work in this branch are always cheery and helpful but it goes without saying that there are also those who know what it means to “take possession of the ball” and work with it rather than simply handing if off to someone else. So I’m sending out a big THANK-YOU to Julia for being that kind of person!

Highly rude customer service rep/manager came out to my car to give me attitude after I just went through drive thru to tell me I had to park somewhere else than my own bank while I spoke on the phone with SCCU support because it was a “hazard to her employees” to have someone parked after hours (literally 2 minutes after they closed) Management and customer service is a 1 star at this location. There were so many other ways she could’ve handled that conversation with me. She had zero friendliness to her. SCCU needs to retrain this branch’s manager on some people skills because I saw none today from her.

Drive thru.. is Ridiculous if you are strapped for time do not go to this branch. Rude teller pushed call button and she came on and said she was finishing up with someone. Then I watched her take care of 6 other people and their cars drive away. Pushed call button again and she said how can I help you I said I just have a quick question while I was asking her my question noticed she had jumped over to the car next to me that pulled up 2 cars after me in a separate line. Pushed call button again and said not sure if you forgot about us or what? She said no I’m just finishing up with someone, I proceeded to ask her my question and she cut me off and said I’ll be with you in a second. Watched two more cars drive off with her on their screen. She was very short and rude with me when I asked her if a teller check costs any money she kept rudely asking me if I was a member after I already told her yes plus I already sent my member car and filled out a withdraw slip and she said she got it. Doesn’t make any sense to me. Then I needed assistance with connecting my other checking account because my SCCU account wouldn’t allow me to send money out but I was able to send money to my SCCU account from my other checking account. She transferred me to a gentleman and he was clueless as to what I needed and said he couldn’t do anything because he doesn’t have access to my other checking account. I advised him it was a problem with sccu not my other account as I’m able to send money from my account. These people just love to waste your time …45 minutes I waited.. also the original teller never made out my teller check 45 minutes and I still haven’t gotten my check. They kept going round and round about the other checking out. I ended up just calling my other bank and they had it fixed less than three minutes later. Sad sad.
