A little over a year ago I was in the market for a new car loan after I was involved in a car accident. I previously was doing business with the Pasadena Federal Credit Union for years. When I tried to get a car loan with them they were not able to assist me. My younger brother Victor Zeledon informed me about South Bay Credit Union and encouraged me to submit a car loan application. I worked with one of his team members and I was approved with my desired amount and reasonable interest rate. I found the whole experience very easy and seamless. I was kept informed at every step of the process and all of my legal questions were thoroughly answered. My loan was funded fairly quickly. What I enjoyed the most was the attention to detail and personal touches. When my loan was approved I received a handwritten note "welcoming" me to the South Bay Credit Union family. Then, on my one year anniversary I received an email regarding the same. This is how customer service is done. I highly recommend Victor Zeledon and his branch team at the 2023 Artesia Blvd. location. I am a customer for life now. Give them a try! Stay safe and well everyone!

If you’re looking for a Credible Credit Union for all your financial needs, this is the best one! Great customer service (which is hard to find nowadays) and have a good sound mind that they will answer all your questions (Victor) on any and all financial needs and questions you may have. Be it from opening a Saving’s or Checking Accounts to financing your auto loan or mortgage financing, Victor will go ahead and make the process easy for you and explain the necessary steps to achieve your financial goals. Rest assured this is the best place in town, and ask for Victor when you stop by.

Worst experience ever. Absolutely complicated, nonchalant, and inconvenient credit union leaves a lot to be desired regarding the setting of the proper tone to be set with new members. Closing my account, and looking forward to working with a much more reputable and responsible establishment.

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. This is by far the least knowledgeable credit union branch I’ve come across in the southbay. Employees don’t return calls, managers are joke and to top it off, they keep replacing employees so your transaction ends up going through multiple people rather than just dealing with an individual agent and building rapport. If I was the owner, I’d close this place and open a donut shop because that’s what these employees are qualified to do for a living.

Took 3 calls and 4 different individuals to finally set up and appointment for a refinance...they finally set it up and said to be expecting there call...and nada. Looks like this place is rundown and out of date I guess. Kinecta credit union is a better choice

I have been with this bank for 3 years. I prefer to get my car loans with them because the interest rates are awesome! Gave 4 stars because it’s REALLY hard to get them to answer the phone. It’s worth it to call a few times, just wish I didn’t have to.
