Terrible service. My homeowners policy was canceled with no explanation or communication from the agent. I reached out twice to add another policy on a second home and never received a response. About a week or two later, I was contacted by an agent in a town further away and was told they had just been transferred my policy. Definitely would not recommend using this agency.

I would never recommend them to anyone not even my enemy. They never return calls. They sent me info to renew insurance on a trailer that I had sold 3 years ago. I called to find out why liability on a used vehicle I bought was more then my other vehicles that are newer with full coverage they could not answer me. Then they said we just notice that we didn’t have you as married that will help save me money. Smh we met with them in person an had been married the whole time we were with them. Way to look out for us. They are very disorganized with details and if they don’t put you in the computer right then you may not be covered because of their neglect.

Unfortunately i've read some of the reviews of clients that had a less than great experience. My experience has not been perfect...BUT...is there a "perfect" company/business ? What i do know is that i've been with Shaffer for many yrs now, and any time i've had a problem/question/anything they have been great. And Kourtney (specifically) has many times gone far beyond what i think most would to research policy/price, etc. I could not possibly ask for more in an agency. Will there b a bump somewhere in the road...no one, and no business is perfct, so i'm sure there's a bump or two in my future, but i'll put my faith
and money in them to get me over it every time.
