This review is for the atm machine. Pulled out a $100 and the machine gave me two $50 bills. Then went inside the bank and tried to get $20 bills. They were happy to do it but turned me away since I didn’t have an account.

After becoming a County employee, this credit union was practically forced down our throats. No big deal, I would just get another bank account and open one for my son so that I can start saving. Within the first few months after being harassed on using this service and that service I notice that they can have unlimited overdraft charges no matter how minimal the amount. Two bucks, twenty seven dollar charge. Once again, no big deal but for them to break down each individual charge when I paid together they took over two hundred dollars. So I call them and they tell me, there is no limit to the over drafting charges and you can possibly have more than 10 in a day if your direct deposit happens to come in late. Yesterday I got paid and had to pay my son's tuition and Mortgage and noticed my card wasn't working and was advised that the branch has cut off my card and I can come in to get money without telling me why they cut off my card thinking they were going to keep my money. Absolutely not! I went back to Mission Federal and Navy Federal. This was absolutely the worst banking experience in my 40 years. BOA and Citibank weren't even this bad, yes the big banking commercial. SDCCU is a fraud and I will never use their services again. Told my family to close their accounts. Why get upset, you have the money and power and can take it to where you are appreciated. I feel bad, Vivianna is the sweetest person working at this branch and would go above and beyond. The other's not so much.

What a joke this bank is. Required that I take my hat off when mutliple people came in with and without masks on and they weren't required to take them off. Have been to many other banks and credit unions and have never been asked to take my hat off. Absurd. Needless to say but I will not be depositing any money here or letting them use my money for investments while they hold on to it. Way better banks out there especially in the customer service region. It was already very distasteful how long I have to wait. My suggestion is to invest your money elsewhere.

With the pandemic number high they have the nerve to have my pull down my mask , when bank is full to capacity . Only this branch constantly gives me a hard time for everything, deposits cash , check cashing and withdraw. I came in to deposit my pay check and I needed two 50 dollar bills back from my checkings . I swipe my bank card and showed my I D what else do you need . Believe me I try my hardest to avoid using the location, because I always get the third degree here . The branch by my house has Top service and treat customer good and I never get the third degree .

Friendly, fast, efficient service with a smile. In and out in less than 10 minutes on average for deposits and withdrawals. Plus, unlike most other credit unions, they have safe deposit boxes...and for 30% less than what banks charge! I appreciate that they have Saturday hours. Since Covid-19 restrictions were enacted, they even open the door for you to enter and exit.

Very friendly tellers. They don't have hidden fees like all the other banks. I'm always in and out in less than 5 minutes. I have a checking and savings account with paperless statements which gets me a free account. As long as you have paperless checking and savings. I also have a visa card through them. I've been with several other banks, don't think I'll ever leave them barring any kind of unforseen issue.

Been a member my whole life and I don’t care to leave bad reviews but this Branch definitely has the worst customer service, each employee every time just has terrible customer service etiquette, not friendly at all, except for Security Guard he has the best and happiest personality in that office he is such a joy every time I go, he is kind and respectful and happy to be at his work, the tellers could learn a few traits from him.

This branch is the worst branch out of all of the San Diego credit union banks i’ve been to . Every time I try to deposit my checks or money orders I get treated like a criminal trying to deposit fake checks or fake money orders . I get the 3rd degree and 1 million questions and a bunch of excuses just so they could deposit my check on my money orders . I do the same exact transactions at the Escondido San Diego credit union bank branch and never have any problems at all . This branch has the worst management around . I gave the Escondido branch five stars For helping me with my account and make the proper changes to my Account that was open in Kearny Mesa and for there friendly service.
