The finest and the pinnacle of what a CPA should be is BLAKE KOOLICK.
He may be my son, and yes, I am so proud of what he does and how he does it. But, from the time he was 10 he knew what he wanted to do. When all his friends were vacationing at 16, Blake was studying and doing internships. He excelled in all his schooling and received awards for his commitment to his field.

We were having someone with 30 years experience doing our taxes for years. However, every year that we had them done although Blake didn’t have his license yet, he would review them and point things out that we asked our CPA about and our CPA asked us if we were using someone else in addition to him to do our taxes. We told him our son, who is studying in the field, who was not yet licensed. Needless to say, he was quite embarrassed that Blake caught things that our “seasoned” CPA had not.

As soon as Blake got licensed we transferred everything to him, and could not be happier.

I ask you this….do YOU have your CPAs cell phone number and are you able to call them at any time even if they’re on vacation?

Taxes and enjoyable are not typically two words that go together, but working with Blake and the team at Scottsdale CPA's the past few years has been just that. My wife (before we were married) found Scottsdale CPA's and was happy with her experience. When we got married we decided to continue with them and I'm glad we did. I initially scheduled some advisory meetings with them to help me plan how best to structure things with some new businesses and investments and then we used them for both our personal and corporate accounting needs and now I even use their payroll services. The advice they provided was extremely beneficial in setting up the most tax efficient structure for our businesses and Blake was extremely helpful and answered all our questions promptly when we called or emailed. He made himself available outside of normal hours numerous times. I also think their fees are very reasonable and their service is exceptional when compared to CPA's I've used in the past. If you are still reading this review, please stop and just hire Scottsdale CPA's already...I'm telling you might just find tax season to be enjoyable if you do.

Scottsdale CPA have filed my taxes and advised me for over 5 years. They are always responsive and knowledgeable. They have guided me through a 2 year audit. Provided sound advice which resulted in a favorable outcome. Darren had convinced me to change my LLC to an Scorp and this drastically reduced taxes for me over the last years. I am glad I took his advice!
I have worked with Blake the last couple of years and he is prompt, helpful, explanatory, knowledgably and overall a pleasure to talk with.
