I went in to open a new account, while waiting in line to talk to a teller, Carlos came out asked how he could help me & immediately took me over to his desk to start my new account process. Let me tell you about our latest experience with Schools First, so we were in need of a personal loan and headed to their Gardena location and the young man by the name Carlos helped us out. We explained to him we were in need of a loan, he asked what kind of loan we said personal loan, asked for what, we answered home improvements, he asked my husband for his email address, if he still worked at the employment on file and asked we send him to his email a recent pay stub and we did, and said Ok, you should get an answer within a couple of hours to tomorrow. We were like that's it!?!? You're good to go. We were pretty skeptical and bummed that we were going to be approved, but within 10 minutes we had an answer, he was approved!!! All he had to do was sign on the Schools First app and money was direct deposited. I'm telling you Schools First Federal. Credit Union Rocks!! ?Haven't joined yet?!?! What you waiting for?!?

Schools first needs to update this ASAP. And the atm only deposits $5 & $20, which if you’re going to withdrawal from the back you are usually trying to get larger bills. And yes there are other branches but that is not the point. Update please.

Five stars because customer service was great. However I have never been to a bank that looks like a house from the outside! Just the location I guess. But it is all about customer service and no complaints here.

There was a big misunderstanding about a loan that we got through them. It was very disappointing. However, Thanks to Julia everything got fixed and i am very pleased!!

Not a full-service location! Does not accept coin deposits. No coin machine on-site.

Only thing I do not like is that ATM only gives 5 $ 20’s.

People prefer larger bills.
