A five star review from a family member? I felt it was important to give a real review from a “real” client. I hope it helps somebody because I sure wish I knew what I was getting myself into.
Ryan took over this practice about a year ago and everything fell apart, he made so many mistakes on my tax return costing me thousands of dollars in extra taxes and paying hundreds of dollars in fees due to improper filing. No communication from him. Empty promises from him. Sitting in August now when I gave my taxes to Ryan in March and still hasn’t filed my return. I also own a S corporation and so many mistakes costing so much money in taxes and penalties. And still not completed. He was very unprofessional and haughty. I left messages every day for a follow up and he returned my call ONCE this whole year and also gave me a meeting one time in July for an hour. He spent most of our meeting talking about himself and his personal issues and only about 5 to 10 minutes on my taxes, which still did not end up resolving anything but only to give more promises that were never delivered and now six weeks later writing a review. This has caused horrible stress, wasted time and leaving me and my business partner extremely frustrated. My last email was sent about a week ago stating how upset I was and still no response a week later. I have finally learned my lesson with the empty promises and I’ve taken my taxes somewhere else. If anyone is looking for a good Cpa in Fallbrook then ACT group, Blayne is wonderful and fixed everything in a flash. I am so grateful that I found her. Do not use Ryan Callahan, Cpa.
