I have to come out and defend RRCU from the other reviews. I've had nothing but responsiveness, professionalism and financial accuracy from them. Yes, they are a smaller Credit Union but the RRCU team have it together. I recently worked out an auto loan with them where, to put it mildly, I kept moving the goal posts on what I wanted and every change, they worked with me on. (David. You're a rockstar.) I hold a checking and credit card account with them as well. No issues with any product I've subscribed to. Responsiveness to questions submitted on their online portal comes back within 1 business day for the most part. Way better than some of the other banks I've dealt with. As long as you keep your own financial health in order, RRCU will help you with your goals, probably better than financial institutions 100x their size. Recommended.

These people are THIEVES, and don't ever use their ATM.

I used their co-op drive-thru ATM to make a cash deposit. Their machine took my money, it didn't credit my account or give me my money back, and just cancelled the transaction without a reciept or anything. I opened a dispute through my own credit union, and Red Rocks never acknowledged taking my money and now it doesn't look like I'll get it back. Criminal thieves as far as I'm concerned.

I'm extremely pleased with Red Rocks Credit Union. I've worked with Jeremy Couch regarding a home loan product and he was very professional and responsive during my entire process. I also appreciate that he called me the next day after I closed my loan to ensure I didn't have any lingering questions. Appreciate his hard work.

Tyrell was the most helpful agent I’ve ever been in contact with in my ten years of banking with red rocks. I was seriously considering banking with another union, but Tyrell went above and beyond for me and really saved the day. This place is always a hassle. No other locations in Colorado, they cant take payments over the phone for credit cards but they can for auto loans what a joke. Also, during COVID-19 with all the restrictions, this bank is not offering any help with waving a service fee to make a payment. If you have a auto loan with Red Rocks you have to pay a service fee of 10.00 for them to process your payment! The same bank you have the loan through. I wish I selected a different bank for my auto loan and for my credit card. I'm moving my accounts to a credit union willing to help out and make things easy. Never will I choose Red rocks for any banking service's again. *Update 2/7/2025* This bank is still ripping people off with their "service fee". I paid off all my accounts and tried to close them today, but unfortunately it wasn't possible. I will need to wait till Tuesday 2/11/2025 and then I will have to jump through more of their hoops just to close an account. This bank is the most difficult bank I have ever dealt with. I would recommend choosing a different bank.

Bottom of the barrel banking services. People have listed their issues with this institution so I wont cover the same issues again but some of the fun things this bank service includes is
*still accepting money withdrawals even when you have frozen the account or card to then charge multiple overdraft fees.
*2 week wait times with account inquires such as questions about the account itself or unknown charges.
*System maintenance preventing account changes causing accounts to be inaccessible complete over multiple days.

This bank sucks. I cannot believe how little they actually do in any regard other than take money.
