What a great and educational experience! I bought tickets online a few days in advance and am happy I did because they sell out fast. Our tour guides Steve and a younger gentlemen were so nice and very knowledgeable. The prices for a Sunday were a bit cheaper and a good price for a 1 hour tour. I highly recommend this mine tour if you are staying in Bisbee.

I visited Bisbee for the first time to celebrate my birthday and had the pleasure of doing the Copper Queen Mining Tour—and wow, what a fantastic experience! As a tour guide myself, I tend to be a bit critical when I’m on the other side, but this tour exceeded my expectations in every way.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, not just about the copper mining process, but about Bisbee’s rich history as a whole. The tour had a great flow, with well-timed stops and plenty of opportunities to ask questions—which he answered every single time with clarity and depth. You could tell he had a real passion for what he was sharing, and it made the experience all the more engaging.

The tour was fun, informative, and incredibly educational. I walked away with a whole new appreciation for the history and impact of copper mining in the area. I also loved the gift shop—it was full of cool crystals, and I picked out a few beautiful pieces to add to my altar. The short film before the tour started was also a great touch, providing even more context and depth.

I’d absolutely do this tour again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Bisbee’s fascinating mining history. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish!

A very fun and interesting tour. Well worth the 16 dollar entrance fee. Probably one of the least expensive attractions in the area and very well done.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ride on the mine cart and the stories told by our guide.

I would recommend this to everyone including those a with children.

It was a neat tour of a real previously working mine. The wife and I took the tour which included a rail ride into the mountain. Once inside expect to do some climbing up steps and walking to other areas of the mine (nothing too strenuous). There were some younger kids on the tour that seemed bored and were flashing their lights around that sometimes got into your eyes, so take that into consideration before bringing the youngins. They have a nice gift shop you can buy gems at. Being city owned, the prices are reasonable. Recommend you book in advance to guarantee your slot. Enjoy!

Definitely get tickets ahead of time there were people in front of us that didn’t and the next two tours were already filled up on a weekday. It’s quite the popular place. Our guide was extremely informative and entertaining. As usual, make sure you carry some cash to tip them at the end.

We had a great time on the Mine Tour this past week. Our tour guide was fun to spend the day with. He gave us a lot of information that we knew nothing about. We have already recommended the tour to friends and family! Have fun!

Fun experience for those who like exploring. They have a little train you ride on for about 1500 feet into the mine. They make 2 stops along the way to show you different locations of spots that were mined. The tour guides provide a lot of info. I would definitely recommend doing it.

First, buy your tickets in advance. If you walk up expecting to buy them at the counter and then join the tour, that won't happen. You will have to wait a bit because their tours leave around an hour apart. That being said, it was a very nice break from walking the town, and it took up an hour, so the tour was not long. Our guide had plenty of facts and was very knowledgeable about the mine's history, a well as a basic understanding of geology. If you want to do something different and learn something new, at the same time, while you are in Bisbee, take the Queen Mine Tour.
