Love the convenience of the credit union,but the wait in the drive through can ba a bit much. It helps to have your forms filled out in advance

If you visit for shared branching, be prepared to wait in the drive thru teller line for at least 20 minutes. Today it took 27 minutes from the time I entered the drive thru until I left. Clearly not the place to go when you are in a hurry. My card was compromised and that was the only reason I waited for that ridiculous amount of time! I called into the location to inquire and they were totally unconcerned about what was taking place on the outside. Prince George's County Customer Service at its finest! This is an example of why we go over to VA to handle business. This would never happen over there. . .

I'm a member of another credit union came in today was nicely greeted and showed how everything works. The teller system is interesting but that's what the bank has a drive through system inside, guess for security. I'm new so took a minute. My transaction was quick and the teller was nice asking what I wanted. I didn't have a chance to say thank you because the screen was black after transaction. Wish the limit was more than $1,000 for withdraw. Everyone was nice.

Let me start by saying that if you want to be treated like an actual “member” of a credit union, go somewhere else. Anywhere. Please. You have been warned. I will put it this way - as long as you do direct deposit, handle most of your transactions electronically, and never have a problem with your account, you’ll probably be fine. Anything above that, forget it. Their customer service is terrible. And there is absolutely no accountability. I called last week to address an issue with my debit card not working with ApplePay. The only thing the representative kept repeating was that the bank was aware and the “members will be notified when the issue is fixed”. I am not exactly sure how we will be notified, because I had to find out about the problem all on my own when my ApplePay transactions kept getting declined. The credit union has yet to post anything about the issue on social media or through email. On top of that, I sent my own email last Friday, explaining some of the concerns that I have regarding the lack of communication. I have yet to receive a response to that email. If you want a bank that could care less about your concerns and dismisses you as if they could not be bothered, then this is your bank. If you want actual customer service, and a bank that is interested in your business, then please look elsewhere. I know I will be.

Do not do business with this bank!!! The employees are incompetent and you cant get competent help from the helpdesk. I had fraud on my card and had to get a new card. The employee put the wrong expiration date in the computer so my card didnt work. This was on a friday. I called to have them fix it and the female customer service rep assured me my card was working and that she entered the correct date. Saturday I go to the grocery store and my card declines in front of everyone in line greatly embarrassing me and my children. There is no one to call and assist you on the weekend so I had to go an entire weekend with my kids with no funds. I should of dumped this bank around Christmas last year when they had problems with their deposits so people went days with no money in their accounts. Do yourself a favor prople and find a better bank. I closed my account the monday after having no access too funds for an entire weekend. Enough is enough. This bank is absolute trash.

I got issued what I thought was an incorrect interest statement for the tax year (it's actually correct), so I called the Customer Service and got an interesting explanation, which is actually beneficial for those who are into taxes like I am: they credit the previous month's interest to the next month's on the first of the month. Therefore, for this credit union, one will always know their full year's interest for tax purposes in early December instead of others that you wait for January to know December's interest (it has to do with the posting date in parentheses they use). Therefore, this helps if you want to try to get as close to breaking even as possible at tax time by paying exact taxes during a current year.
