My family and I have worked with Nancy for over a decade, and she has been great. Up until this year.

I had a simple tax question that went unanswered for TWO months, a question that should have been answered when Nancy prepared my taxes. I reached out weekly via phone and email and got no response, even a month after tax season was over. And it's not just me. A family friend had a similar experience with Nancy ghosting him.

Nancy informed other family members that she is retiring, and the company that bought her client list told me that she has made enough mistakes to be sidelined for the 2024 tax season.

So far, the new company, Foos-Garvin Accounting, is no better. I have reached out weekly for almost three weeks, and while I get a quick response from the assistant, her boss has not been available to answer my simple tax question. Maybe Foos-Garvin Accounting is too big to care, but my family and I are moving on. What a disappointment.
