1 star is still too giving for this review. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RENT FROM PEAK RESIDENTIAL! I called to inquire about one of their rentals. It was no longer listed on their website but listed as they are showing it. I spoke to the 'receptionist'. No names are given when they answer the phone, only 'this is the receptionist'. I was told they have exceeded the amount of applications for the property, just so everyone knows they can only accept 10 applications until they shut off accepting applications. I understood that. I asked since I had someone on the phone some further questions about the screening process since I can never get ahold of the leasing department. I asked if one of the household members has a $2,000 in collection, but the income for the household meets 5x the rent each month, has excellent housing references, and the other two household members have a credit score over 700+ with nothing in collections, if we would still disqualify the household. I did not want to think about applying at any of their other rentals if this would be the case (a waste of money on application fees). She, the receptionist, told me yes it would disqualify us. I told her I personally work in property management myself in leasing and have never heard of that. I asked if there was anyone else like a manager or supervisor that I could speak to so I can just get clarification on that. She told me no and that they would tell me the same thing. I told her that is quite odd that there is no one above her given she is only a receptionist. She laughed and told me that's how it is and hung up on me.
VERY unprofessional company and staff. I am learning after reading their reviews that I am not the only one to experience this. I am disgusted at the lack of professionalism of this company. I do not normally write reviews like this but this certainly rubbed me the wrong way. I would highly recommend to NOT rent from this property management company.

I moved in the beginning of the month. It was so hard finding a place I finally said oh well and settled for one sight unseen. I dropped off deposit and first months rent within 2 days of being accepted. Very grateful for the staff here getting me into a home on such short notice! And Aley has been great with keeping up with me on emails for services needing to be done at later dates (air filters)

I’m moving to Sacramento due to the Army and emailed them about seeing if I can schedule a virtual tour of one of their listed property. They told me no and didn’t even try to work with me. Though, I see Ruth was able to help someone virtually who was also moving long distance. Good enough to help them, but not me? Got it 😃

I had a very frustrating experience with this company. I scheduled a viewing for a condo listed on their calendar and confirmed the date and time twice with the office, both times receiving confirmation. However, when I arrived for the showing, no one showed up — this was the second time they had failed to keep an appointment for this particular unit. I had already applied and paid the application fee in advance, clearly expressing my strong interest in renting the property. It’s no surprise that this rental has been on the market for so long, considering the company can't even honor scheduled viewings. Very disappointing overall.

As a City employee who routinely works with rentals; I can only wish all property managers be as diligent and responsive as she is. Rented a property through this property management for over 10 years and nothing was ever fixed. When I moved out they did cosmetic work to the house or whatever work they did and charged me for it. Of course and thankfully I still had all of my paperwork from when I first moved in and showed them proof the issue was there before I even moved in and lived there without it being fixed. Why do I need to show them proof? Shouldn’t they reference my account before sending me a bill Tenants, keep all your paperwork when renting from here. Their customer service isn’t great either. It’s hard to get in touch with someone if you call their office. My alternate contact for them was to email. Which is better because it’s proof that I notified them of any issues. Because I had the evidence and paperwork to support the dispute I did receive a little of my deposit back. This review is a FYI for others to keep all paperwork.
