Buying any home - let alone your first home - can and likely will be an overwhelming experience. Having spent the last month and change working through the process, I can confidently say my fiancee and I are so glad we found Patti to be our buyer's agent.

When we first found the home, we had just started looking at lenders (for the first time) and had no concept of the complete buying process. Patti was extremely communicative when it came to keeping us updated on the listing as we gather paperwork to get approval from our lender.

Once we got our approval, Patti led the charge with preparing documents and advising on contingencies that would be most applicable for our area and home. What's more, we were able to target a realistic offer that was agreeable to the seller, but lower than the list price. Once we got our initial offer accepted, Patti was able to hook us up with all the right groups (i.e. home inspectors, title companies, home warranty companies, etc).

Whenever we needed to schedule an inspection or wanted to show our parents the home, Patti was incredibly generous when it came to making to open the home to allow our families to give their opinions. She also worked tirelessly with the seller to get any informational documents we needed to make the most informed decisions. We never felt pressured or in a "time-crunch" to get everything ready for closing.

Lastly, when it came to closing, Patti and the title company had everything clearly laid out. The document signing went seamlessly, and no unexpected surprises came up at the last minute.

In summary, both Barbara and myself are extremely thankful for the efforts Patti made to help us secure our first home. We are immensely grateful, and would happily recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home in the MD, VA, PA area!

Patti Perez with Mackintosh Realty was an absolute pleasure to work with. She assisted my wife and I in finding a weekend house with lake access in remote West Virginia. She was their to assist us with every aspect of our purchase from start to finish including setting us up with a fantastic mortgage company. She was professional and was easy to reach with any questions or concerns and quick to respond with answers.
