I don't recommend this bank. I large deposit from my IRA account. It took 8 days before I could use the money. I went in to make a wire transfer to my escrow at 11am. No one was there to help me other than a bank teller. It took 2 1/2 hours to get it done bcuz I kept having to wait for the teller. He finally told me I was good to go that it would be wired out that day. Well the next day I find out from escrow they STILL haven't received it. I called the bank again to get a teller who told me that it takes 3-5 hours to do a wire transfer so even if you get in the bank at 9am when they open you WON'T be able to get your wire out until the next day. So I have had to move my escrow around now for the second time because of the bank holding my money. So if you want a bank that you can do checking for small things, credit card purchases for small things, or you want to keep minimal money in your savings then this is the bank to go to. BUT if you want to buy a house, furniture, take trips using your Visa card or anything else DON'T GO TO THIS BANK!!!

I had a loan through Nuvision for my vehicle that I got in 2021. I made 3 years of loyal payments before my car was, unfortunately, totaled by a red-light runner who was ultimately found at fault.
My insurance paid out nearly $26,000 to Nuvision in November 2024 and I am waiting for the GAP to receive one final document from the government to pay out the remaining balance on the loan.
Throughout this already troubling time, Nuvision has harassed me to pay for a vehicle that is totaled. My self employed work was dependent on having a vehicle, so I am no longer working as much and I can't afford to pay for a car that is totaled. On top of them being paid out $26,000 they are still harassing me to make more payments while GAP approves documents. I have given GAP's contact information to multiple people at Nuvision, I have been fully transparent since the accident what is going on not only over the phone but also via email.
On top of that, my grandmother died within 10 days of my car being totaled and they keep calling and harassing me while I am grieving the loss of my maternal figure.
They have offered no sympathy, their agents call and have awful sound quality then say I am "disrespecting them" by telling them I can't understand them.
3 years of loyalty means nothing, they've put a negative rating on my credit report despite receiving nearly $26,000 from my insurance in November 2024.
The police department records have been backed up for over a year, I am doing all that I can to get these harassing people the reminder of their money but they don't care and expect me to pull my $917 monthly payment out of thin air when 1. I don't have the car anymore, and 2. I am self employed so I can't work without a car and now 3. they've put a negative rating on my credit making it nearly impossible for me to get a new car to work.

Got a solar loan and they set me up on auto pay. Even though I've never missed a payment and pay in full each month, I've been sent to collections twice and have over $400 in late fees I've had to pay off. Even after multiple phone calls and apologies from the company, I still have no faith the issue has been resolved and just waiting for my credit score to drop a 3rd time after they send me to collections once again. They have not refunded me a dollar of the fraudulent late fees. Beyond frustrated with the wasted time and effort this company has caused me. Highly recommend you stay away from this credit union.

I tried calling Nuvision Federal Credit Union in Huntington Beach and was given a 45 minute wait time and asked if I wanted to leave a phone number. I left my number and was never called back. I tried calling again and was again told to wait 45 minutes. I have currently waited 25 minutes with repeated requests to leave my phone number. If they don't call back, why leave a phone number. I can't understand if everything is automated why does it take longer to answer phone calls. It looks like I may have to close my accounts with Nuvision, even though we have been members for over 15 years. This is really sad, as service has gotten much worse since the virtual service was implemented. Communication is important to customers and if we can't get a hold of anybody, why do business with them?

No better place to back than NuVision.
Opened an account 10 years ago and will never go back to regular bank.
This branch is exceptional. Only downfall is sometimes card machine doesn't work.

Third World Banking at its worst! Really poor service now. If these people can screw it up, they will. They can’t even give me their telephone extension without screwing the number up! Impossible to get hold of my contact. Have had my account all the way back when it was McDonnell Douglas Federal Credit Union. The service now is SLOPPY, SLOW, and with mistakes. Services are also real bad. For example they outsource their car shopping service to some horrid company. Thinking of changing to Long Beach Unified School District Federal Credit Union. My friend said anyone who lives in the County can join. Better rates, services, and they actually have a great car shopping service in-house.

I was shocked when Martha opened the door to the branch one day, and had us sit and wait in line for the next person when you need to have an appointment. I just wanted to set up a young adult checking account for my daughter. Eventually I got to the counter to speak with her and she made it sound like we'd be sitting there for quite a while. I told her I opened an account for my other daughter at the Springdale branch that closed without an appointment and under 10 minutes a year or so ago and she had the nerve to say no you didn't. She said it takes longer than that to do. I asked her, so I'm lieing? She said no your just mistaken. Hey Martha I went to the FV location.on Brookhurst and they opened the account for us without an appointment and about 10 minutes. She is snarky and rude and is often found sitting in the room while there are lines. I did not know her name so while I was in the branch this week I asked. We locked eyes for a second and she rudely rolled her eyes. Martha you definitely should check your attitude. I have been a member since it was McDonnell Douglas. 30 years!!!
