Last week, I discovered an issue with a checking account here at New Horizons. I called and spoke with their "call center" and got very poor resolution. This morning, I went to the Daphne location and was lucky enough to meet Heidi. She was a doll! She was so helpful, very polite and just a great person to represent their business. I told her the problem and she knew exactly what to do to correct the issue. After she had taken care of the problem and I left, she went above and beyond and called me to let me know that everything was complete and resolved. I'm going to just go to the branch if I need any more help. And I'm going to find Heidi!

Updating years later because unfortunately I have family that still uses this bank. I think the fraud has finally driven them away.

Now not only are they still stealing a few percentage points, look up kasasa banks, but now they will put money into other people's accounts rather than your own and refuse to answer questions about where it went.

I wouldn't hire a single person here to run a casj register at McDonald's. Maybe to push buggies at Walmart, but they would probably just bring them to Dollar General

Not the same credit union it was years ago. They are grossly incompetent and mismanaged. Even though they are stealing from their members through the Kasasa accounts they are still losing locations

Anyone know a lawyer that specializes in sueing banks?

They repeatedly deposit money into the wrong account and Kasasa accounts through other banks are over 2% and have been for some time. I questioned a bank manager about it and it went up slightly for a short time but is now permanently half what it should be. They also have cut other benefits in half

Run away before you have to deal with fdic to get your money

Kalee Modispacher was absolutely amazing at the Daphne New Horizons Credit Union! We have had loans through this branch for the past 10 years. Kaylee is new to us, but was quick, efficient and easy to work with! She caught several corrections and worked on the behalf of us with the car dealership, to make sure our loan was correct. So happy with her service! We would highly recommend her to any of friends!

Excellent place to bank. They have always been a great help with anything I’ve ever needed. Kathi the manager is an exceptional person and takes her job serious while keeping a very personable approach to every situation. I couldn’t recommend this credit union enough, wish there was an option for a 6th star.
