I recently sold my self-directed IRA asset of real estate through New Direction Trust Company. My Asset Management Coordinator was Lori Johnson. She is freaking awesome. Her communications were very timely and informative. From start to finish (and follow up) she ensured that everyone knew what was needed in order for New Direction to get their part of the job done. Her instructions were plainly laid out in easy to understand instructions. She communicated with the Attorney's Office, my Agent, the Buyer's Agent, and myself. I highly recommend investing in real estate using your IRA, and even more recommend Lori Johnson to assist in the process. I will be using the proceeds of this sale to re-invest in real estate, and I pray that Lori is the Coordinator that is assigned to the transaction.
