Had heating system installed Feb 26, 2025. As of March 6, it is still not working. The thermostat is not reading correctly. We are either too cold or too hot, not the 72 degrees we have it set to. Mountain Valley failed to install a working HVAC system. Had to spend $100 on external temp sensors and disable the thermostat's sensor. The system is now working.

The one star is for not installing a working thermostat. Still doesn't work properly. I had to buy and install an external temperature sensor and disable the thermostat's internal sensor.

I am just disappointed with the total lack of care for a customer who has been asking for help regarding help with the rebate form that we need to fill out in order to get a rebate from our utilities company (to the tune of $1500.00, based on a 6 ton heat pump installed). It has been over 2 and a half months and despite repeated calls, texts and emails, their response has been tone deaf Having spent over $16,000.00 on this new system, we feel cheated and used Once they got their payment, they just washed their hands off and they could care less. Truly Truly disappointed!!

Mostly good, with some weaknesses. We had a boiler installed in March 2023 and are pleased with the job Andrew did. We've also had several interactions with Blake, who is the inspection guy. Blake is prompt, professional, a good communicator, and fun. Blake even made my bed once when I jokingly asked him too!

On the other hand, I sent a long email to both the owner, JD, and the office person addressing several concerns we had, and now, seven (7) months later, I still have received no response. Communication and follow-up (we are STILL awaiting final inspection) are weaknesses in this company.

I cannot say enough good things about this company, Mountain Valley Plumbing.

We had an experience that wasn't great with a different company. I had explained what had happened and Mountain Valley Plumbing came out on the same day to look at the work that had just been completed. I needed advice on how to move forward with issues the previous company had incurred. Alex was the plumber that came. He was so very professional. He provided me links for items that I needed in order to save me money by ordering myself. Who does that? He provided me same-day estimates that were emailed.

I felt bad that he came all the way out and we couldn't get the work done that day, so I had him also look at my boiler. The previous company had taken care of my boiler and serviced it very recently. However, when Alex looked at the boiler he showed me that the pump was bad and it was leaking all over the crawl space floor. He took pictures and gave estimates of the parts needed. He left and charged me nothing for the visit.

I will always recommend them and I have scheduled the work to be done ASAP. What an awesome experience! Way to go Mountain Valley Plumbing!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Nathan from Mountain Valley Plumbing. He was very professional for a young employee and had the customer service skills of a much more seasoned employee. As the owner of an HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical contractor in Ohio, with over 60 employees, I would love to have an employee of his caliber.
