I’ve had many complications with trying to file for myself so I spoke with Sara about what I could have been doing wrong. She answered and educated me on all the questions I had. With all of the craziness of last year due to COVID I was concerned that due to unemployment, my taxes would be really complicated. Used them last year with an awesome CPA named Heidi. I learned this year that she was no longer with this company and I ended up working with Sarah Johnson and Diane McCauley.

I went back this year requesting the same services (basic W-2 entry and minimal sole proprietorship company expenses with issuing a single 1099). Instead of my price I paid last year, this year I was going to be charged over $500 for that service. I chose to issue my own 1099 and go through all of my expenses to make it as minimalistic as possible.

I had to fill out their form with all the data from my W-2 and my expense data. It was basically just like typing in all of my data into Turbo Tax. They still ended up charging me close to $300 for that. Not very happy what this service has evolved into and how much they charge for it. I would not recommend this service to anyone and am rather displeased with their customer service they provide. I have other friends that use this company as well who've had similar feedback and will not be returning unfortunately.
