I would not recommend them. We have friends who have had really good luck with Kress and Co but we are still dealing with the mess from filing our 2019 taxes. We never received our return from then and have been calling the IRS on our own ever since, only to call the associate assigned to us for paperwork we needed.

As anything, may not be the right fit for everyone and we do know people that are repeat clients. For us, it was a lot of money to pay for not a lot of support or a tax return.

We have been using Kress & Company for over 15 years. I would highly recommend them. The team is very responsive to our needs. If a problem arises, they are open and honest about the problem and how to resolve it. They explain what must be done and how to do it. The IRS was under a lot of pressure over the last few years due to legislature policy changes. The IRS was way behind in publishing guidance. Accountants have had an even harder time trying to keep up with all of the changes. Kress & Company helped guide us through all of the hurdles the past few years. I would not want to use another firm.
