I had a VERY disappointing experience working with Gary, marked by a lack of transparency and professionalism. During our initial phone consultation, Gary quoted a flat fee to review my books and handle my year-end taxes. Following our conversation, I sent a follow-up email to confirm the terms and get something in writing, but I never received a reply.

Despite no work being performed at that point, Gary sent a Zelle payment request, which I paid. When I questioned the amount, he insisted it was what we had agreed upon, though that was not the case. If it had been, why didn't he respond to my follow-up email outlining our agreement?

This lack of communication eroded my trust. I requested a refund since no work had been done, but my emails and Zelle requests were ghosted. Frustrated, I had my husband reach out, suspecting there might be a communication bias. I was correct...Gary responded to him but called me a liar and accused me of harassment, even though I was simply seeking clarity and resolution to either have him show me the work he put in, or give me my money back. Surprise, surprise...he ghosted both my husbands request for resolution, as well as mine.

Gary's conduct is concerning, especially considering similar complaints in his other one-star reviews. He thinks he can outsmart you. His refusal to address legitimate concerns and tendency to dismiss clients’ feedback reflect poorly on his professionalism. Adding to the frustration, I received 15 AI-generated emails within a week of our consultation—many requesting a positive review—which felt inappropriate seeing we only spoke once during the phone consultation.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Gary's services. I encourage prospective clients to carefully review all of his negative reviews and take them seriously. The moment you are not on Gary's terms, you do not exist and he will take your money and run (as he did to me)! Based on how he responded to his other negative reviews, I am expecting him to state that I am a liar, and that he did put in the work for me and I am the problem. This will show you his true colors....

I looked them up on Google and scheduled an initial consultation which is supposed to be only 15 minutes free session but we spoke for 40 minutes. I had left messages with 3 other accounting firms but no one had even bothered to call back.
Gary spent as much time as I needed and answered all of my questions including some very specific individual case questions. I was very grateful for the time that he spent with me and learned a lot from him. I have not even used their services yet but I certainly will.
