I've been with Kim's office and American Family for over 22 years now and have no plans on ever leaving.

We've been adding and subtracting car policies a lot recently, and she and her staff have been so awesome corresponding with us about how much each car is, and what we could do to lower our rates, doing whatever they can to find discounts for us etc. She has even told us on a few occasions that we may want to consider changing our coverage because it was outdated and didn't cover what it did in the past, and we were basically paying for nothing. What insurance agent is gonna ask you to spend LESS money!?

Every time I have a policy come up for renewal, I get an email or phone call to discuss coverages and changes and new options, etc. Kim has always been super honest even when it comes to rate increases. I have spoken with several friends who are shocked to hear that my agent reaches out TO ME to get stuff set up and ready to go for the next year. Sounds like lots of agents aren't being as proactive as she is.

We recently had to get our roof replaced, and I didn't know that you had one year from the date of claim to get it all done. I had no clue, and none of our neighbors were getting new roofs so I had no reason to think that we needed one. Kim personally called me up to prepare me that our roof would probably not be covered because we were outside of that timeline. While she was potentially the barer of bad news, I sincerely appreciated that she took the time out of her day - it was even after 5:00 pm, to explain the situation. She could have let the claims department and the adjuster give us the news.

It turns out, that the American Family adjuster that came out was able to find a different loss date and get our roof covered 100%. I was so thrilled that he thought outside the box and was willing to figure out how he could get us covered. How many times do you hear of insurance companies doing that? You always hear the stories of insurance companies NOT covering you!

If I had been moving around companies and chasing the lowest rates every couple of years, I would NEVER receive the level of customer service that I get from this amazing crew.

I love that I can give them a call and talk to someone right away, or that I can shoot them an email and correspond that way. I trust Kim, her crew and American Family complicity to evaluate my needs and give me the proper policies and coverages for my family.

If you need insurance, I highly recommend Kim and all of her staff to you.

Kim Barber has been a wealth of information especially having two teenager drivers. She is always available or gets back to me quickly when I have questions. We have a house and three cars.
When one of my vehicles got road paint on it, Kim helped get us in contact with AMFAM personnel that helped us get it fixed right.
