Our experience with Ketchikan Fishing Company and Captain Todd was absolutely exceptional! As a parent, I can't stress enough how important it is to get our children out into nature, away from screens, and create lasting memories as a family. Captain Todd made this possible in the most memorable way.

On my daughter's 13th birthday, we embarked on a fishing adventure that exceeded all expectations. From catching halibut and salmon to pulling up Dungeness crabs, every moment was filled with excitement and learning. Witnessing humpback whales bubble net feeding and majestic eagles soaring overhead added an incredible touch to our day.

Captain Todd's expertise was evident from the start. He not only ensured our safety and comfort but also engaged my daughter directly, letting her be hands-on with the fishing gear and explaining the fascinating marine life around us. His patience and genuine enthusiasm for teaching made the experience unforgettable for all of us.

We had an amazing time on our fishing charter with Captain Todd. He is extremely knowledgeable about all things fishing in Ketchikan. He knew where to take us to catch our limit and made our day so much fun! We truly felt we got the local experience. If you're looking for a fun day fishing, I would highly recommend Captain Todd!

July 2024 - Recently, I took my family on a cruise to Alaska. I checked out multiple charters in Ketchikan before deciding to go with Captain Todd (KFC). We wanted to concentrate on Halibut! We got a late start, but Captain Todd got us on the fish!! We caught Halibut, Cod, Rockfish, Salmon, and even a Ratfish…My family had a ball! He got us back to the ship on time, and he made arrangement to send some of our fish back to Michigan!
I recommend Ketchikan fishing Company!

This is a one in a life time opportunity! I highly recommend!! Trent was amazing and super informative with the fish we caught and how to catch them. With a private party he was super attentive to everyone. He made the experience great! Sometimes while fishing I get bored because of how little the fish bite but he seems to know exactly where to catch them because our whole crew caught 27 fish overall!!

We highly recommend Ketchikan Fishing Company. We decided to book our fishing excursion separately from the cruise ship and we were 100% glad we did! Our private charter with Captain Todd gave us the opportunity to have a more personalized experience with just our family - and our catch. Captain Todd navigated the waters well, knew where to go, what baits to use, what depth and speed to fish, etc. We talked to several people afterwards on other boats that did not catch any keepers; it is a combo of skill and some luck, Captain Todd seems to have both! We sailed away with a couple keepers, including two king salmon, on opening day for king, June 15th. When we go back, we will connect with Captain Todd again. Great time, great experience!

Todd was awesome and really knows what he’s doing. Never met someone in my life that knows as much about fishing and the water as he does.

He’s also a great guy and very entertaining! Would recommend him to anyone that’s coming through Ketchikan during the summer. We caught 4 different types of salmon and he had them hitting all day long.
