I had a great experience working with Sadie for my car insurance needs. She was courteous and professional throughout our interaction. Sadie took the time to suggest areas where we could improve my coverage, which I found very helpful. She answered all my questions thoroughly and politely, demonstrating her expertise in the field.
Sadie's customer service skills made the potentially stressful process of dealing with insurance much smoother. I felt well-informed and taken care of. I would definitely recommend Sadie to anyone looking for assistance with their car insurance.

VERY poor communication. I signed up online for a rate of around 290 for 6 months, which I paid in full, then, I randomly received a text a few months later that my account was overdue by around 240. When I called the individual I spoke to was unable to address my concern of why I had an outstanding balance when I paid the 6 months in full upfront. She contacted the finance team and advised me that I would receive a callback in a day or so. A week later, there was still no callback with answers. I called again and was advised that the rate online is just a guestimate and that the rates may increase. Kind of wild. However, no one directly told me why it increased, considering that I have a fairly clean driving record (I had 2 hits & runs 3 years ago - not my fault). Note that no one also tried to contact me via my preferred method of contact (mail or email) or left a voicemail, & when I was contacted, it was maybe one phone call during the hours when I was in an internship at the time. When this was mentioned, they just apologized that THEIR preferred contact method didn't match mine. I never received an email with updates or any mail regarding the increased rate and if I wanted to continue with the services. Instead, it was instantly applied to my account. Might I add that they also took away my roadside assistance for too much usage on my previous insurance (I had a bad battery + alternator and FWD when I first moved to AK), this they did mail me about. Anyway, I received a letter stating that my insurance was terminated due to no payment after I canceled my services. Guarantee, this was mailed the day before I canceled the insurance. It's still silly since, technically, I was given a week to sort this out with very minimal effort from them. I left a voicemail to confirm that the overdue charge does not apply anymore and that this will not count against me; thankfully, I received a call back later the next day stating that I do not owe and this won't reflect poorly on me. Maybe if you go through an agent it's better and a smoother process without random hefty increases, but I wouldn't trust the online system or great communication.

This insurance agency has got to be the worst I've ever dealt with especially within the last year. This past winter I went on vacation to Florida when someone at Justin Goodmans office texted me asking where my person belongings were to which I replied, "my belongings are at home." With out knowing it, someone at Justin Goodman switched my homeowners policy to the address I used in Florida to register a car leaving my home in Alaska uninsured and leaving Statefarm open to a very serious lawsuit if anything had happened. No one took accountability for this. Soon after I got back an agent called to review my policy and said I could actually save money with an Umbrella policy. The price was supposed to be around $158 a month. The next month i'm at $190. The next month I'm at $211. There was never a consistent bill. I cancelled my policy last month and Statefarm issued a refund to me but now I just received another bill for $183.75 saying I need to pay it or they'll cancel my policy which is ALREADY CANCELLED. Now as an owner of multiple businesses myself, I could never imagine treating a customer with such sporadic pricing and such incompetent manners. Please avoid this insurance agency.

I came in after my new bmw and Mercedes’ were damaged by a snow plow company that they insured! They and especially Shane were so helpful with my estimate and claim in general! They uploaded my photos and helped my navigate the frustration, turning it into smiles! I left smiling and had a day changing experience! The experience definitely deserves a five star review and was probably the most deserving five star review I have ever given to customer service!
For Alaska this company stands out as a must visit location!
