If you are looking for aggravation this is the perfect company to use. About 10 months after we have purchased insurance and paid in full the price we were quoted and were quoted and agreed on, we were sent an email to pay more for the insurance. At first we thought it was a scam, but it was from JM Allstate indeed. The person writing to me aggressively demanded the additional payment. She assured me though that we are still insured, which I do not believe. This incident convinced us that this insurance company is not reliable, and looked for other insurance. When we identified another company to insure with we wrote an email to cancel the Allstate insurance. Upon cancellation they charged the additional payment we refused to pay, and refunded a few dollars left. They never sent a statement to explain that bill and charged us in spite of the fact that we refused to pay that additional charge. They closed our online account at Allstate and used our credit card for all these transactions without seeking our permission or notifying us whatsoever.
