I was lucky enough to learn more about Investment Management through Horter Investment Management, LLC with the Tiger's Inc team; we were given a tour and individual department information sessions.

UPDATE 1/15/2020 Do not be impressed with the beautiful sign in their lobby claiming a 'Fiduciary Standard of Care'. They claim 'low risk..., and 'Defensive in bad times...opportunistic in good times'. Well they LOST nearly $30,000 for me in the best of times; during a period the market gained over 20%. Then I emailed Drew Horter to complain about their miserable performance and got no response. Evidently, a Fiduciary Standard of Care does not even warrant an email. This is more than extremely disturbing, does it rise to fraud?

Over a period of about 18 months, Horter has managed my account losing $24,000 while other investments I have with others have made money. The market, in general, has made gains. So far, their response to unsatisfactory performance has been unsatisfactory.
UPDATE 12 October 2019 So now Horter has LOST $30,000 during a time the major stock indices are UP 20%.. When selling their services all you hear is 'safety' and how they take a fiduciary responsibility with their clients. NOW you can not get them to talk about their fiduciary responsibility nor how they are going to do anything at all to make up for their INCREDIBLY POOR PERFORMANCE.
