My husband worked for this company. They wanted him to renovate apartments with dog poop on the floor and up the walls, actual piles of poop. They told him the apartment had been cleaned and it could just be painted over it. He then quit the company and they held his check for 10 days then put it in the mail and it has not been delivered still to this day. They mailed it from Dublin, we live 15 mins away. Instead of having him come in person to pick up the check it is not lost in the mail system. Horrible company to work for, let alone rent from.

So me and my boyfriend moved into Courtship Village then moved out just 6 months later, from day one there had been nothing but problems with that place. First of all the cost of that apartment was extremely high especially for the area it’s in and the condition the apartment is in, I’m not sure who in there right mind would think charging people $1300 a month for a cheaply put together apartment was okay. Then for our entire 6 months stay the dryer NEVER worked properly, we called multiple times about it but the maintenance guy there is extremely incompetent. Another issue was one day we came home and saw LITERAL SEWAGE leaking from our toilet upstairs onto our counter tops. And my all time favorite incident was when our neighbors ( who never cleaned up after their dog ) literally threw dog feces on my car, not to mention all the other damage done to both of our cars after being in that parking lot. When we first moved in we could somewhat afford it but things have happened and we can no longer afford to pay for a low grade apartment, they have been giving us nothing but issues, the manager said she would put it at the top of the list to be rented out but now it seems like she doesn’t even want to answer our texts. This is by far the worst place to live and if I could give it a zero star rating I would.

Do not rent from this company. My mother lives in one of the apartments this company owns and it is filled with mold and the 15 years my mother lived here they never replaced anything. mold in the rugs and kitchen and bathroom, they just refused to replace it. i lived out of state and only became aware of this a few months ago and seen this..my mom didnt want to be a bother or be threatened of being kicked out so she just stayed quiet. what a shame. she is now living with me until i find a better living arrangement.

I opened the door to my apartment and a roach was walking across the floor. This was my 1st time entering the apartment. I was informed by the young lady in the rental office nothing could be done until the exterminator came out in a week. I moved into the apartment and roaches started coming from everywhere. I few days later the same lady came to the apartment with a can of Raid and about 7 sticky houses for the roaches to live in. I sent several emails to corporate without any responses, and then on 01/21 I opened my refrigerator and a roach was living inside on a shelf next to my food. I emailed corporate again and within 30 mins Leslie called stating how sorry she was and would have me move to another until, to give her a chance to resolve the issue. Leslie was suppose to come to my apartment on 01/25, but I received a call from her to come into the office. Leslie informed me all of the apartments were rented and she can have the apartment vex while I live in this Infestation and they will keep exterminating until the roaches are gone. The roaches are all in my belongs I can't bring in my new furniture and I working from home. I living and work in my bedroom 24/7. I was also informed if I leave I am responsible for the remaining of the lease. There's trash right outside my front window which I have asked them to pick up. The outside mailbox is on the ground on it's side. None of the washer and dryers work in the buildings and if you can find one good luck getting inside the building to wash. Beware of this apartment complex unless these are the ideal living conditions for you. I have pictures on Google review.

Truly a shame. $1100 a month for this Hell Hole (Kingswood Court). Zero management, zero morals, zero ethics. Disgusting. Do not move here.

follow up to review below: They sent my deposit to the wrong address. I even updated the address a WEEK before it was sent cassie I called in and was told to send a email so that they could have the right address. It took up until January 31st for me to be told this information. Mind you I was out the end of November. No one still ever answers half the time. I was told it was going to get mailed back out to the CORRECT address. I can even drop names of who was spoken to and emailed the address and it was still sent to the complete wrong number address. I asked if I could pick it up due to it being their error, no one ever answering the phone, no one returning my calls/voicemails. Even when asked I got no response on if I could just pick it up. This place is not well managed. It has been such a hassle to try to get my deposit back. It is frustrating cause I general I was charged for a few thing I know I should not have been charged for AND on top of that I was been over 2 months and still no deposit. No one ever wants to answer or return calls. If you do get a response and you reply to a text, it is a high chance you won’t get a response after that. This has been so complicated for no reason.

They never answer the phone or return calls. I have been calling about my security deposit after moving out. Just had some questions on when I was going to get it and to make sure they have the correct address. I moved out the end of november. I have called and my mom has called at different times and no one ever answered or calls me back when I leave a voicemail.

I lived there for 2 years. When my lease was up the 1st year, they let me store my property in a garage while they upgraded my apartment. They wanted me to move to another apartment and I asked to stay in that one and I was able. When ever I had an issue they were fixing it to my standards. I see all of the negative reviews but I never had a problem and would recommend anyone to stay there. I have moved out, but it had nothing to do with the complex, I moved in with my boyfriend of 4 years.

I moved in courtship village in Lancaster ohio and was the worst experience! I had to deal with mold to the point it was making me sick and all they did was spray it kept coming back they did nothing! I wasn’t allowed to see my apartment til the day I signed the lease which I was supposed to get an updated apartment but now I see why I wasn’t allowed to view landlady told me tht was standard procedure which is def not the case who moves into a place without seeing it first!?! There were cigarette burns on bathroom counter on bathtub carpet was so disgusting I swept two canisters full of animal hair that they said was clean! Told me I had to do my own extermination when I noticed roaches in my apartment mind you there are 4 units to a building so if I wld have exterminated they would have just went back and forth between buildings! Now that I moved out they are trying to charge me for all normal wear and tear in the apartment on top of my security deposit that they kept! I would not recommend Courtship village apartments in Lancaster Ohio! You will not get help from corporate or anybody higher up they will direct you to Samantha brokaw in the office who will do nothing but lie and argue with you she does not care about you or what is going on they will try to charge you for everything they tried to make me replace the drip pans on the stove for the new tenants! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!
