I live in Mona Lisa Village, and have been the HOA President since February of 2024. We have had quite the transition with HBS - Stratford. Stratford was selected to represent MLV HOA in September or October of 2022 (replacing Paul Ash). We have had 4 different property managers, plus HBS took the helm in the middle of the changes. Now that could potentially sound like a huge negative....BUT I have to say, things are better and smoother with each change. Kailand (#5) inherited us in July of 2024. She is such a gem, she keeps her cool & calm in the midst of the chaos going on in my head. Her suggestions and guidance are appreciated and very effective. My accounting team (Lauren & Reina) are always so helpful and timely with answers. The reporting system they use is GREAT, very informative & user friendly. No matter what comes up we really do manage everything as a team. Everyone is conscientious and takes pride in their jobs. So a BIG thank you to everyone for keeping the hamster wheel turning...LOL!! I do appreciate all the effort everyone makes for our benefit...

We have owned a condo in Coronado Place for about 10 years. Stratford Management has been our HOA management company.
Last year we had a major upheaval in the community with a MUCH needed change in the HOA board. Along with that, we have Edwin Ortiz as our Community Manager. In short, he has been a live saver for this community! Previous HOA board had run the finances and everything else into the ground. Edwin has been there to oversee & manage things and shares EVERY move he makes with the current board. He is exceptionally honest and puts the community first and sticks to the Arizona statutes and CCR's to stay above reproach. In short, our community owes so much to Edwin and Stratford. Thank you!

I just saw an HBS company car ride by. If they’re the company managing the supposed “Luxury Condominiums” I live in no wonder they have a 2.7 rating!! I live at Vernada at Ventana condominiums in Tucson, AZ and luxury shouldn’t be in the description here!! This place definitely has the potential, but the management sucks!! There’s little to no warning when the water is off for repairs (which is alarmingly more than average) and they give you a window when the water will be off, which is more like a hard we have no clue and water will not be available, but here’s a time so you’ll know it’ll be off sometime today!! They soak the playground with sprinklers midday when kids are playing and the grill areas instead of early morning or late nights, the entry gates and exit are always inoperable (when it’s supposedly a gated community when they’re always down) guests gate code changes every month but you don’t get an email for new code…. Etc…. Definitely poor management company!!! If they ran a restaurant it would definitely close for poor management!!

Zero stars should be an option. It would demonstrate the service this company provides. Take a few minutes to read HBS employees' online reviews to get a picture of what goes on within the company. "Los jefes" get angry if you ask them to handle things that are their responsibility. Prepare to be upset.

My son recently purchased a home that is being managed by this group. There was a recent change from the prior homeowner's association. The title company has called so many times asking for details on payment amount/address/contact etc. and is getting the runaround. Every time I call they tell me they don't manage this property, but the neighbors confirm they are paying them. This morning I called again to get information and was told accounting would call me back. Here we are, the end of the day, and still no return call. I cannot believe they manage a company like this. You would think new homeowners would receive a welcome package with all pertinent information so that they can be responsible.

I feel that Stratford Management Company has done a great job of managing Coronado Condos here in Tucson. The manager we have, Edwin Ortiz, works his tail off for us, walking the property, talking to homeowners and listening to their complaints. He always tries his hardest to solve the issue so that everyone is happy. He goes out of his way to make things easier for all of us. He has been treated unfairly by some of the home owners that are spreading lies and falsehoods. When asking these homeowners to follow the CC&R rules, they don't like it and in retaliation, spread rumors and lies. This is unfair to both Stratford and Edwin. They have been very gracious in attending meetings to meet with these homeowners to work out their issues. There is one homeowner we have set up two meetings with, which he did not show up for either one. He still continues to complain and spread lies to his neighbors. The new board has worked very hard to gain the trust of the homeowners and has been very willing to share information, asking for comments and suggestions on how to do better. I just want to clear up any doubts. We have a great board and a great management company and the community is very happy.

The oaks at Midvale park this management is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced,they fine for anything little,yet they are selective of who to fine,they discriminate I just bought this town home 3 years ago and will be selling due to this management company.im surprised it’s still in business ,soon to get a lawsuit I’m sure.
