It is hard to be a small business owner when tax season comes around. After owning a franchise for four years, we recently switched to Hanson & Co CPAs. William Tucker now manages our taxes. He is responsive, patient with our questions, and he takes the time to explain things. He has gone through past years, found significant money owed to us for overpaying and has coached us to make smart decisions with our finances. We would recommend William to any business owner in the community. The whole experience from start to now has been 5 stars!

I made a plan with Hanson & Co in November to file my 2023 taxes along with correcting a previous year's return. I submitted all my files in January. I checked in a few times and they said things were going well and almost ready for review. Toward the end of March they stopped responding to emails and calls, I figured they were just super busy. April 15th came and went. I never got returns from Hanson and never even got an explanation why they blew me off.

Let me start by saying I never thought I'd be writing a Google review for a CPA firm. But the folks at Hanson & Co. are amazing! Starting a new business and having it blow up much bigger than I ever expected, I got my taxes wrong... like, REALLY wrong. But the team here helped amend my prior year's taxes and get me a way bigger than expected return for this year's personal and business taxes. I can safely say I would have been in a much worse financial position without them. How do I know? Because I visited a very well known big-brand tax preparation company and they told me I owed thousands more than Hanson & Co. ended up telling me. It made me feel like these guys aren't just going through the motions. They have my back as both a personal client and business owner. I'll be returning every year and look forward to continuing to work with them as my business grows.

You won't go wrong with Mark Moore. My family and I have some complex trusts and tax situations. We've worked with several accountants to date and there's always been some issue ranging from forgetfulness to poor communication. Mark is none of the above.

Mark is responsive, thorough, and most importantly, easy to communicate with on a regular basis. He has already caught some very big mistakes made by our former accountant. Moreover, my family and I have been calling him several times a week for a variety of reasons. He remains patient and steadfast. His knowledge of taxes in combination with his customer service skills are of the absolute highest quality. It took a few mishaps, but we finally found our family accountant.
