Very friendly and helpful staff. I moved across the country into one of their properties and they made my move as smooth as possible. Their deposits were very reasonable, although I felt the pet deposit was a little high but they did refund it when I moved out. I see a lot of reviews saying they didn’t fix things but in my experience they were always very quick to take care of any issues I had. Also, during the onset of the pandemic they were very understanding and helpful and worked with everyone. All in all I had a great experience renting from them and intend to continue using their services in the future. Highly recommend.

Do not ever rent through this company! They should be shut down. I don't think what they are doing is legal. They do not care about their customers, they just want your money. The property I lived in for three years was a dump the day I moved in. They did not fix anything from our move in check list. They then continued to neglect fixing anything in the house through the years. Sometimes the maintenance guy would come by, but thats all he would do. My friends still live there, and the roof has been leaking, GR&R sent over a couple of "roofers" to fix the roof and I think they'll be lucky to have it done by next summer. My friends told me the guys only come once or twice a week if they're lucky, and work for maybe 20 minutes at a time. The whole GR&R gang is a bunch of criminals, taking advantage of good people in a town where there are very few places to live. If i could give them zero stars I would!

There is not enough time in the world to be able to type everything that is wrong with this company, and the people who work for it. If I could put 0 stars I would. Even the walk thru was bad. We all went in a huge group and they over booked the group. We were unfortunate enough to have shown up first and receive the lease above the other potential tenants there. Erin told us she doesn't care if we smoke in the apartment, and since its on the lease to refrain from doing so I was disappointed at her extreme unprofessionalism. She is not alone though. There was one incident where the courtyard flooded and I called to make them aware of the situation, only to be returned by screaming and cursing....They didn't even come. They ended up turning off our water for four days with NO notice at all.... Pretty mad because I was in the middle of dishes. They Are the worst. Upon move out they were even worse. They charged us twice for a carpet cleaning fee and when confronted they just said "oh we have to ask the carpet guy first." yeah thanks Erin.... I had a receipt they refused to look at as well. They also charged us random charges for some couch or something among some other furniture. The apartment was empty and we didn't deserve this charge. We are going to let them keep the $45 they stole because we are tired of fighting. Since this review is way too long as it is I am going to leave a great deal of the hell they put us through out. Long story short is they are selfish money hungry snakes and they will do nothing to help you with anything. They are disrespectful and plain old jerks. If you have no other options other than renting from this company and being homeless, then move out of Gunnison. It may save you money and stress in the long run.

Unpleasant, unreasonable and difficult during all of our interactions over 2 years of renting from them. Upon moving in our carpets were in terrible shape (dog pee, burn holes, odd stains) they were obviously not cleaned well before we moved in. We asked them if they could take them out or clean them due to the terrible smells and looks, they told us they would be removed after we moved out and we shouldn’t worry, we wouldn’t be charged for them. Before moving out we asked them if we should clean them and again they said we shouldn’t worry about it. When we moved out, we found they charged us $270 for it. They also charged us for “loose doorknobs”, which was unwarranted. They said they needed $200 to fix a hole that was there when we moved in, and instead of fixing our front door they told us to “try closing it harder”. Just a few issues we’ve had with them from our long list.

Do not expect Kelly to be honest with you. I have unfortunately had to do business with these people for three years while attending college. When you move out expect at least $200 to be taken out of your security deposit for 'cleaning' regardless of the state of the property (I suspect it just gets pocketed). Additionally they charged me for half of a month I wasn't even living at the residence. They have had issues with embezzling money in the past which resulted in the removal of one staff member. I don't believe they are a moral or honest company by any stretch of the imagination. Please take your business elsewhere or be ready to accept forfeiting most/all of your deposit.

I have lived in apartments managed by GR&R for about 1.5 years and I have never had anything but great experiences with them. The first time I lived in one of their apartments, it was a sublet arrangement gone bad and despite the undesirable circumstances, they were very helpful. I love the apartment I am in now (which is also through GR&R). It is affordable, they have always been quick to provide maintenance, and they have always been very helpful with any questions that I have. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist you with any questions. Great company!!

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. The most unprofessional real estate company I have ever been to. They do not care about the customer at all. During a scheduled showing they had the nerve to schedule another group during the same time. Also, when we went to their office they ignored us and proceeded to gossip in front of us until another group arrived. The showing of the place was absolutely horrible and Erin told us that she did not care if you smoked in the place as long as it was clean on move out. Their apartments are a safety hazard and extremely unclean. Erin is the most unprofessional agent in the area. You are wasting your time if you even call them, all they want is your money.

The people are nice but the policies in their lease are outdated and cause problems for the tenants. I would never recommend this company to anyone trying to find a home with others. Don't ever sign a lease with them, you're wasting your time.
