We switch to a new company a month ago from Kip. After State Farm came to us and told us that my daughter didn’t need to be covered as a permit driver I learned that Kip knowingly took 286 a month from my 16 year old after he told us he would find us the best rate. The best rate would be to tell us if you go through this policy you don’t have to insure her. As she is insured under the licensed driver (her step dad) When I inquired about it, and was upset instead of trying to make things right he said you are no longer a customer I don’t have to deal with this and hung up. Really good customer service. We were customers of his for a long time and I wonder what else we were not giving notice of just so he could keep getting our payments.

Took insurance money from me knowing as a permit driver I didn’t need to be insured and i was covered by the insurances driver that was with me. Didn’t give any money back and when we asked for a solution he said, “you’re not a customer here anymore?” and hung up. As a sixteen year old it takes 2-3 checks to get my insurance money and i was even about to pick up a second job to try and make it easier to afford. If you’re looking for actual good rates go to state farm.
