Wonderful customer service and really impressive service in being well informed about everything that we asked them about. Very helpful. Very timely response, this is the best experience I have ever had with my many different banks all over and since I travel often I have had many experiences with different banks.

I have never had such a negative experience with a credit union. The Vacaville branch itself has nice customer service, but Golden 1 in general is terrible. I applied for a checking and savings account online, went in to the branch to get my debit card, and was able to use my card for about 3 days. My account was put under restriction because they needed to verify my identity and get proof of address. After weeks and numerous calls to their member services, they still weren’t able to verify my account even though I had submitted all the required documents. I was also told I could not withdraw my money from the account even if I went into a physical branch. I demanded they close the account and give me my money. That took days as well. I would not recommend using them.

I have never had such amazing experiences with this bank. The branch was not this Vacaville branch but the one in Elk Grove California, but I really enjoyed this one in Vacaville as well best experience so far. Thank you for actually caring about your customers instead of being deceitful about what actually is happening with our finances. You are absolutely appreciated!!!

The staf members are always pleasant and happy to help. I haven't encountered any negative ones yet which is unusual for a financial institution. People can get very animated when dealing with their health, wealth of food.

I am very very disappointed with vacavilles golden 1 customer service. I called to make sure I could do an in bank share transaction and was told yes. I arrived with a check to deposit and was told I needed to use ATM. I think the employees are too lazy to go out of their way for customers who are supposed to be able to conduct share branch transactions. I think my bank would not like knowing that the banks they partner with are turning their customers away.

2-stars for terrible service at the vacaville branch. 1-star goes to the Davis branch for goofing up my check order causing a 6 week delay. I could not find a pen in the vacaville branch! I really needed a pen to endorse a bunch of checks. I did however, find lots of useless promotional flyers and glossy brochures.
