This bank does not know what customer service is. The tellers are doing what bankers need to do in that taking a looooooong time with customers that need extra attention. Tellers should be there for quick customer service needs. When they know that patrons are standing in line for a long time they should put more tellers to get the line going. So many reviews on bad customer service and the bank doesn’t care to fix the problem. Do they even want customers to come in? They are so slow and the bank has “gone to the dogs” in terms of customer service. Fix this Golden one as I’m this close to closing my account.

My husband and son went in there to open an account today and was treated like they were the plague. The obvious neglect to acknowledge them or even speak to them when they entered the building to the obvious racist environment. Then when they were helped they were told to scan a QR code and complete the application on line then set up an appointment. WTH?! Has customer service completely gone out of the window? Scan a QR Code?! Wow! There actually still exist people who don't want to ruin their eyesight by scanning a freaking code and completing an application from a mobile device. This world is coming to a standstill from ignorance and lack of quality customer care and genuine relationship building. New World Order at it's best! Golden 1 (my behind)!

The wait time at this location is terrible. When the line is enormous nobody comes to help and no consideration is shown by the tellers. My average wait time is 30-45 minutes. Today I have seen 5 people already get out of the line and leave due to the wait. The people behind me claim to have the same trouble when they visit as well.

Update. 10/23/23 Bank just opened because they don’t even use banker hours anymore since COVID. Line is 20+ people long with 40 minute wait times and people giving up. Took close to an hour to finish and I saw 10 people leave the line. I guess the way they want to shorten the line is to make you wait so long you just give up. Ridiculous

Update 9/30/24. Bank has been opened 30 minutes and the same problem as before. There are only two tellers and a line out the door. Again two people have left the line in frustration. Make that three. They claim to want to rectify the problem but as of right now it’s the same.

I don’t ever leave negative reviews but the customer service reflects the poor rating on line. My new card was a nightmare to use …. It took a long time to set up and I only got a couple of uses out of it before golden 1 shut it down… I went in to talk to Erin… nice lady who tried to help me but couldn’t…. The manager ( I don’t know her name: East Indian )who sits in the office behind the teller station was very dismissive and told me to stand in line that was 8 people deep…I had to re explain my problem to 3 different golden one employees…. I wasted a lot of time trying to fix this issue … It shouldn’t be that complicated…Erin said she fixed it but after waiting.. the card still doesn’t work….The issue wasn’t resolved and the branch wasted a lot of my time and caused me to miss out on transactions … it was more trouble and aggravation than it was worth.. very frustrated …. I don’t trust this branch to facilitate this and I will have to go to a different town with a golden 1 to get provided with proper service. I regret having them help me.👎🏻

We made an appointment to take care of a family member account. Erin was extremely helpful. All our questions were answered and she helped us file out almost the necessary forms...she was fantastic.

Everytime I come into this Golden 1, it's like waiting in line at Disneyland to get on a ride (ridiculously long)!!! Whenever coming here, plan on having an hour of your time waiting to get to one of their 2 (sometimes 3 for a moment) teller's. I've already watched a couple people in front of me leave the line. Along with at least, AT LEAST 5+ people walk up to the door. Open it, and walk away. Photo is after the 2 people left the line. Felt their angst, yet glad it got me 2 space's closer.

Well I took a friend to Golden one where I also bank buts its been a while I've been waiting since 10oclock and it's been 20minutes since and still waiting either customer service is slow or they need to open up and get more tellers

Absolutely the WORST!!!
I'm guessing she was the supervisor, she helped me with getting 2 months of bank statements from an account that I no longer have access to. But instead of just printing them and just walking to the printer she told me I needed to come back TOMORROW!!!!! Because she was jumping on a call and didnt have time to walk to the printer. But I could wait in the ridiculous line and the teller could print them for me?
There's 2 tellers helping a line out the door with actual cash transactions and this lady couldn't be bothered to walk to the printer! She would rather push a simple task off to the tellers! Absolutely disgusting!
