I unfortunately had a bad experience and cannot recommend Chad and/ or Gilman and Co CPAs to anyone. I signed up for an engagement to get a tax forecast done and before we even had a chance to speak I received a grossly incorrect draft forecast and a bill for excessive hours of work that obviously was not completed due to the obviously incorrect info. In reviewing with my financial advisor and old CPA, they noticed the inaccuracies within 2 minutes and without even referencing the dozens of documents carefully prepared and submitted to Chad. Do NOT recommend.

UPDATE: I am now having to change all banking and credit cards as this fraud has continued to run UNAUTHORIZED charges after a formal discontinuation of services was provided AND acknowledged.

Horrible, horrible experience. Chad Gilman has not followed through and provided any of the services I paid for. Paid for him to catch up on book keeping, manage payroll, review prior year taxes and provide tax strategy planning.

Catch up book keeping was not completed accurately and I had to ask 5+ times for this. He either ignored me, or would promise it by X date and then provide nothing.

Payroll has no been managed properly, employees paid 20 days after pay period which violates Colorado Labor Laws, and at least one paycheck is missing.

Prior year taxes- have not been reviewed even though he continually promises these will be reviewed by X date.

He no showed to the one and only tax strategy planning meeting. Did not bother to tell me he wouldn't be attending, did not apologize, and did not reach out to reschedule. I received a half hearted "oops" from his secretary.

Don't expect to see a penny of my money returned, but will dispute with my credit card.

Very professional work, top notch tax knowledge, accurate accounting, immaculate delivery. I would definitely recommend this firm if you need to establish a long term relationship with a very strong CPA team.

I've been using Gilman and Co. for 6 years now. He is an excellent accountant who really knows taxation. Other accountants I've used (6 others in total) ask the standard questions, but Chad really knows every way a given expense can be tracked. He dives much deeper than your standard tax preparer, and works harder to get you more back than anyone else. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Mr. Chad Gilman has not rendered the services he promised. I have paid $2,200 to Mr. Gilman YTD for bookkeeping and tax filing services for me personally and for my business. $750 of the $2,200 was for months that I had already done with work for and he promised me a refund for those 3 months and has since taken his word back. I am very unhappy with Mr. Gilman's reaction and lack of ownership of not fulfilling services promised. He has been unresponsive via email when being asked for transparency on what I owe for taxes. The only thing they have done for me is file for an extension in which was unnecessary...they should have filed my taxes. I am requesting a refund from Mr. Gilman and he is refusing. BAD FOR BUSINESS!

Horrible experience
