I am very displeased with GE credit union at this moment. I’ve had a couple issues since I opened my account but nothing like last week. Apparently my bank card was compromised and they didn’t send me a fraud alert or tell me they just froze. My account froze my debit card Which is the only card I use and all my bills are coming due and getting returned so I called last week and paid $25 to expedite a new card. It’s now a week later and I don’t have my card and Im out $25. I chatted with a representative online and after 20 minutes of wasting my time, she said she can’t waive the $25 and you know doesn’t know when my card will be here. Expediting to me means either overnight or one day delivery I need my card and I’d like my $25 waived. Not a good experience

Great bank. Never had any issues. People are always really friendly and they have great rates. Had 5 loans through here, all serviced well and good interest rates. Had one hiccup a long time ago where they didn’t send me the letter to get a lien on my vehicle removed, if they did send it, it never arrived. But they got it sorted out that same day I was trying to sell the car. Very helpful and respectful.

Honestly, I use to love this bank. Now, the wait times are outrageous to get a check deposited. Every single time. Meanwhile my kid is screaming because the tellers stand around and gab and laugh instead of doubt what they need to. The ITM use to be great and it’s the same way. I wait 20 lines time

GECU is always wonderful and awesome in assisting me with all my banking needs. Whether I am in-person or on the phone with them, every last GECU team member I work with ALWAYS provides exemplary customer service.
