Not a place I would recommend living and am counting down the days until I am out of my lease.

Aside from inconsiderate tenants that don’t clean up after their pets and leave their trash out in the halls outside of trash pickup times (nasty stinky trash for multiple days sometimes) Their front office is extremely rude when you bring these issues up to them. Not to mention they like to stick new fees on to your rent that is not listed on the lease. Beware if you decide to sign a lease here you will need to watch your monthly statements.

Update: of the 500.00 deposit I put down I received 312.45 back. This was after me spending two extra days cleaning the apartment(lesson learned: when moving don’t bother cleaning. You’ll still get charged). Plus all of the fees— you get charged for common area gas and electric, fees which are billed in arrears and are all over the place.They charged 125.00 for cleaning. It should be noted that when I had originally moved in, it did not look as good as when I left.

Moving out is hectic. To complicate things, my power went out. No lights in the kitchen. This happened on April 7th. I called the after hours line, because the fridge wasn’t working. They said it “qualified as an emergency” and someone would be over that night. 7:30, 9:30, 10:30. No one. Next day I work from home to finish packing. Knock on the door-it’s the “electrician.” He asks me, “how do you know the breaker is broken? “ He tells me he can’t fix it and he will come back. Next day is moving day. I say OK. Finish trying to pack in the dark. Next day— during the middle of the move— the electric guy shows up again. I have movers so we work around him. I get mostly moved out, and leave for the weekend with my dogs.

Get back, lights are still broken. Email management. I get a reply that the electrician went by Sunday but couldn’t enter because of no answer and dogs barking. This was a lie— I was not in the city of Greeley or even county of Weld, so no dogs (from my apartment) could have been heard.

I unfortunately still would advise anyone to consider your options before this complex. The staff can’t make up for the lease terms and conditions, or the corporate approach. Find a place where the team always knows you and wants to work to keep you there. The moment you have to work for them should be a sign. You deserve it. (They did replace the dog waste bins… several weeks after my post).

Before the Echelong group took over this was a quaint complex which had been updated recently. The rental prices were reasonable and affordable. And then the corporation took over and things quickly deteriorated. The trash cans for the dog waste which had been on EVERY house corner were gone. Blinding lights were put on the corners of the buildings. I was promised new window coverings to compensate for this new sun which hit my bedroom every single night. It never happened. Most apartment dwellers are aware of the risk of noise level but my apartment upstairs has a circus, bowling alley, trampoline house, if there is a loud noise you bet it will wake you up at 4am. My rent went from a reasonable 1300 a month to 2400 for a month to month fee. I would advise being homeless before paying these crooks to take your money. (The staff in itself are actually decent; however, the lease is aimed to protect the asset— not you as a tenant. It should be noted I have made several attempts to rectify as I would prefer not to move. I hate moving. But a 200 increase in rent for each month you don’t stay (15 months started at 1410 plus all their fees) and a 3 month lease being 2450 is not doable.

Does any apartment complex’s in Colorado ID ppl before letting them move in? This is the second time I have recieved a collection notice from an apartment in CO!!! I have never lived nor been to Colorado!!!! Obviously the management does not screen their applicants very well!!!!!!!! Can I please have an email for manager to reach out to and email over proof that I have lived in 2 different states my entire life. I am updating my review since I have tried to contact the office and a manager has not reached back out to me. I am still getting letters from your collection Agency and would like that to stop. I have tons of proof I have never lived in Colorado!!!!!!!

I lived at gateway place in the past and unfortunately had to move for work. After coming back to Greeley I toured many different complexes and nothing beat the amenities and the quality that Gateway had to offer. I’ve lived here for about a year now since moving back and I can say that I am impressed with the amount of renovations that they have been making to an already amazing complex. They built a second dog park and pickleball court. They also redid the roads throughout the community and it looks amazing. we’re very quick with the pool closure for the replastering and the pools are kept clean and clear. The office staff is professional and polite and the maintenance team responds promptly with quality work. The fitness center also has great equipment and a sauna. And I would recommend Kimberly she helped my move in process go very smoothly.

Well, my story about gateway is pretty bad. So I moved in 2/14/22 (do not suggest moving on this date if you have paper thin walls, which this place does.” And moved out 5/14/22.

I work with CDOT, so the location was ideal. However, I winded up in another district and only stayed here about 3 weeks total. I paid Both a lease termination fee, the partial rent for the month, and a ton of small community utilities fees, as well as cleaning and carpet. Some of that is pretty standard such as the cleaning. I was told my deposit would be keeper and I would have no other charges.

They also wanted me to pay back the move in special (1000). Here’s the thing, they never told me or called me about it. On top of that they revoke your access when you move so you don’t even have the ability to pay it anyways. A simple call or email would suffice.

This is definitely on the list of Do no do business with again.

First thing is these apartments are just beautiful, the inside and out is gorgeous and definitely on the more prestige side of apartments. The layout is amazing and the amenities are even better! However, it’s the staff that made this a miserable experience. We were told to go ahead and put in application KNOWING we needed a co-signer, the guy said absolutely no problem they use co-signers all the time, so we did apply. I was accepted but my partner who needed a co-signer was not, that’s no problem. We contacted Gateway to let them know we needed that co-signer to be approved, they said it was “too late” and that we were not able to do that. That was the beginning of all this, after getting hung up on twice, and eventually just stopped answering my phone number all because I had questions about the application and refund. After emailing back and forth with many staff members, I was told it would take no longer than 30 days for my check to arrive. We applied in JULY, and still no refund. After investigating, I was told a manager had put a “non-refundable hold” on my refund, weird. After being denied, the attitude and demeanor of the staff was unacceptable, I work in customer service and there are 100 other ways to go about this situation instead of ignoring it. So still waiting on my refund as I write this BUT I’ll give 2 starts because of how nice these apartments really are, I would have loved to make this place my home but I understand it was not meant to be. 🙂 just be careful when applying everyone!

This review is a few months overdue. My husband and I rented an apartment in Phase II. The apartment was beautiful. Very spacious and very quiet. Neighbors were also great. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience at this apartment complex. Pamela and her team went above and beyond to meet our expectations.
I loved their events where they handed out snacks, donuts or breakfast items to residents. They didn’t have to do these things but they did and that made a big difference. Maintenance requests were handed in a timely and friendly manner.
I highly recommend this place if your looking for a place to call home.
FYI, I’m a very picky person. My husband and I have lived and rented all over the country and this place is truly a gem.
