Cherry Woods Apartments
The office Manger Teresa does not like to help people with rent issues. She knows places that would help but would not give the information. She has helped in the past. Then she had a white lady car towed no tag but others with tag issues that should have been towed. So is this a racist thing She is white and other tenants are black. She let's people smoke pot in the parking lot in the evenings. She cannot keep the elevator working. It stops a couple times a went. She cannot keep the building secure at night or during the day with the side doors. She speaks about other one issues in front of other tenants. Fire ants are all on the grounds and they came I'm the building last Year.. She also sells items for one of her friends at work. That is not professional. She never replaces the ink in the printer they are always out. The building smells with the air freshers. People that have breathing problems or allergies that does not help. Bathrooms and carpet hardly ever get cleaned. Know one really likes her. She does not have a good personality for her job. She comes across harsh with most tenants. Does not follow through with issues

Village on Park
I have been trying to get in touch with management for weeks regarding issues with the property located in Hahira. The office management for this property is terrible, they will not fix anything and love to say “well you will just have to deal with it”. Management will contact you about minor issues and complaints but when you have issues nothing is done to solve it. I’ve been living out here for years and the property is a mess. The stairs are nasty and have never been cleaned. The walls are filthy and need pressure washing. I would not recommend renting from this company at all.

This property management has stolen $1,166 from me when I moved into an apartment complex that they managed in Georgia. They stopped working with this apt complex in the middle of my lease and the property manager in the office forged a signature on a renewal lease. They are now know longer the property management team. I have been trying to get in contact with someone for MONTHS and no one has returned my calls. I would like someone to handle this immediately for the return of my funds.

I am having a problem getting management to call me back concerning problems with my rent payment that wasn't posted on the date that I had submitted on May 1st.
I was told by my manager that my check had been returned. I went to my back after hanging up with her to check on my account, and my bank manager told me that my check had not been returned.
I have a copy of my check written.
I have been ill and am not able to get around due to an infection in my foot.
I have had this problem before and almost got evicted. It was a very dramatic experience. I wouldn't like to be in that situation again. I had to ask family members and friends to help. To pay late fees and court costs.
Please look into this issue.

I live in a complex in GA and we have been without a resident manager for more than six months. My issue is one that is shared by other tenants. Not having a manager allows for other people to roam the grounds especially at night. There has been a presence of drug dealers on the premises and for seniors this is scary. (Not at night). The police were called but this is crazy. Every year the rent goes up but there are zero changes to the complex. I’m aware that the cost of living goes up but the Social Security checks don’t keep up with inflation and cost of living increases. We deserve better than this. The senior citizens of this city deserve better than this. We are not allowed to have pets which is a great comfort to those of us who live alone but cannot have here at this complex. There are so many of your tenants who desire to have a pet but are fearful of reprisals from this company if they are vocal about it. I say we deserve to be heard.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. My mother lives in a Gateway managed property in Harrah, OK. She is elderly and has been without a working hot water heater for OVER two weeks. She has also been without a dishwasher since October 2023. An electrician said the problem wasn’t electrical. They “capped” the hot water heater over a week ago and she hasn’t had an update since. My mother is ill and has severe hip pain and doing her own dishes is extremely difficult for her. I called the local news channel to do an investigation into this management company. My mother said that many of these elderly residents have had continuous problems getting things fixed. Also, not having a working hot water heater means that the property is uninhabitable! This property management company are slumlords. Take care of your tenants, especially your elderly tenants.

When I moved out, I gave the leasing office staff my forwarding address TWICE, because apparently they lost it and claim to not know who I had given it to when there are only TWO staff members in the office. Never received any correspondence of me having a balance after move out and it is now on my credit. The collection agency says they mailed something never received it. Never received anything from Gateway Management Company. The collection agency had a phone number from I don’t know when. Yet my current number was on my renewals at least the last two times and this is the number I was called on every time I received a call from the leasing office, but somehow you give them a number I haven’t had in years… shady. No one ever answers the phone here and I’ve left several messages with no return call. Never again.
