For many decades, I have used this credit union along with at least one other retail bank. The First Tech rates have been competitive, and its services have been personal — whether at the branch office or remotely. There have been many knowledgeable, hardworking, and proactive staff. My current representative, Eric P., is no exception. Banking has been a delight with his guidance and support.

I went into First Tech Federal Credit Union to get my account changed into my trust I was introduced to Tyler and he assisted me with my account. Tyler was so courteous knowledgeable and he got my accounts set up. I had an issue with the account not showing up and he resolved the issue. Tyler provided me with great customer service. Thanks Tyler for your hard work in getting my accounts set up.

I am a new customer to First Tech and have never worked with a credit union or bank that places so many holds on your deposits. The first one I transferred from my original bank there was no problem however the second one they placed a hold on it for ONE WEEK the rep informed that there is an ACH hold from the same place it was drawn from the first time and no access until 7 days later ? Where did this come from? Last night I deposited my payroll check using their e deposit after it was complete no other information provided I addressed this with the same rep and again ONE WEEK UNTIL I CAN HAVE ACCESS TO MY MONEY. Not everyone that is a customer is a retiree or mega rich. They also will not cancel deposits if you dont agree with the terms and if you do not have the funds for the transfer a 33.00 NSF fee will be charged. This bank is worse than a GREEN DOT BANK except for this one has branches. I would not recommend this credit union. I am going to be looking for another credit union to work with.

Would not recommend them if you are looking to get a credit card. I agreed to a 0% APR on a balance transfer, the lady on the phone confirmed it was 0% APR. Found out later it does have an APR as I started to get charged for interest. Then they reported that one month I missed a payment which effected my credit score. Then they do a soft check and cancelled the account which I am still paying off! I did not miss any payments and obviously have proof of this so had to dispute it. I have NEVER had a credit card account cancelled that still had a balance. I definitely would not recommend them to anyone I know. They will hurt your credit score!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. All the numbers put you on hold for 30 minutes+ then when you try calling back it has a busy signal. Pay some people to answer your phones. I'm not able to make my auto loan payment on your website I need to speak to somebody! I can see why you guys have a 2 ⭐ rating on Google!

Got burned on a credit card transfer with these guys. Make sure to read the fine print. Also they made a heart-attack-creating $10,000 error on my account that required repeated phone calls to fix. They held me to the letter of the law, but they let themselves off the hook for their major blunder. They’re unscrupulous, heartless, and incompetent.

Terrible. They were on the verge of Repossession after they claimed they tried to make a collection for the past 5 months.

I have not received a phone call in months. They claimed that they tried to contact me but that I had no service to my cell. I had previous issues with logging and I swear that they had set up automatic payments. I never noticed anything with my checking account since I just make sure I don't go below $10k. I receive a regular request for payment. Then I moved and had my mail forwarded. They claimed that they received a notice but they didn't try and contact me for my new address. I immediately paid the balance needed. I will be changing finance company.

They didn't even know the color of the truck or insurance company. I believe that they dropped the ball on the necessary information on 62k loan.

Awful service online and by phone.
